They are not dodging Putin's bullets, they are dodging their own bullets, from their own criminals that got their hands on weapons.

Yeah okay, Putin is in no way involved. Peace be upon him :roll eyes:
Where did they get the weapons, Amazon?

SO, let me sell you a gun, you'll go and shoot half of a mall down and it is my fault?

don't bother to reply, since I will not answer to your non-sense, and this is not a place for that discussion.

PS and no, they got the weapons off ROZETKA.ru HA HA HA

revision A: for the early adopters
revision B: a serious contender for the MBA (probably with one extra port)
revision C: replaces MBA and world has switched to usb -C

I'm very interested in seeing the rMB and will probably buy one. I also think a lot of the venom and naysaying are at best irrational nonsense. I mention those for context, because what I want to say about your post is that I'd bet cash that it will develop exactly the way you outlined, and that's perfectly OK. Actually, if it works out that way, I'll bet Apple will be very pleased, too.

I would agree.... and along with every version will come a speed-bump, longer battery life and a price drop. That seems to be how it worked with the Air.

I see where you are going, but I am not sure. My wife has the Mac Air and I have the ipad and an iMac. I recently got her a ipad air 2 with a keyboard clam case. She is now using that more than the Mac Air. As the two get close to the same size and weight, there are only two major differences (from a user perspective)

1. Touch screen
2. OS ability to show multiple "windows" on the screen

I would prefer for Apple to make their own keyboard cover for the ipad, but there are enough out there that I don't think this is that big of a deal anymore (I used to).

I suspect that when #2 gets resolved on the iPad, I will go with that over the laptop. However, if they add touchscreen to the laptop and the keyboard is better than the third party one available on the ipad, i might go the other way.

Bottom line is that I do believe these form factors are too close and that apple needs to pick one and go (my vote currently is the iPad).

Also:

3. Keyboard
4. Trackpad

I disagree. If you can make a laptop as thin and light as the Ipad Air 2, why on earth would you want to mess around with a detachable keyboard? PC makers have tried to make a 'hybrid' device like that and keep falling short. I see no reason to combine the two.

Again, keep the two form factors separate—iterate to make them each perfect in their own way.

My guess is that she is using the Ipad Air 2 more because it is her newest device and she is excited about it.

Also, have you tried using the Apple wireless keyboard with the iPad? works like a charm :)

Based on specs, I totally agree. Pro is faster with all the ports that are still in use for the exact same price. And it only weighs like 1.5 lbs more. I'm guessing the MB is for people who prefer lightness and design over functionality.

It's for people like me.

I'm starting graduate school and just found out that I will be the TA for undergrads next year. I will need to move from class to class and have office hours. I need more than iPad for tax research and running JAVA based online review systems.

I could definitiely use my 15" rMBP, buthe the new MB will be much nicer assuming I can use the keyboard.
