What do you mean by more give?

I dont have the PlayProof, but from multiple youtube videos, it "looks" as though the PlayProof doesn't have an as aggressive lip as the CrashGuard, i.e. it doesn't go over much of the curved glass. I may be wrong?
My wife has a CrashGuard and I have a PlayProof. Now, to be clear, we don't have an E2E protector on either phone right now, but from what I see/feel, the PlayProof is stiffer and tighter than the CrashGuard. My guess is that the CrashGuard would play nicer with an E2E protector. Only a guess though.

When are you planning on getting the Ice Max?...I might have you be the test guinea pig before I purchase one :)

Not sure about the regular clear PlayProof, but the PlayProof Clear Custom cases are outstanding! Somehow, they are just a little bit grippier than the other PlayProof cases I have reviewed...and they have a matte clear back material which is very fingerprint and scratch resistant.
