UPERFECT 16" 500 NITS 2K.

There are many more, mostly 15.6" with the widescreen ratio, but this 16" has a better ratio, more Apple-ish, etc.
How clear is the text when sized similarly to the MacBook's built-in display? I'd like to get a portable 16" display to work alongside my MBP, but am wondering if I need 4K for sharp text.

2k is good enough imo. Use Amazon, with their return policy.

These monitors are so good it's crazy. I'm using one right now as my only display (besides my MacBook). It's in portrait mode. I also have several more of these types of displays, but I like this one the best as the matte is very good, it's very light (plastic), very bright, and high res.

It's almost like there's been a revolution with these things. A few years ago, all you could get were dim, expensive panels, with bad images. Now they are good as my MacBook and cost $150. Of course this applies to so many things, China bieng the actual 'revolution' with their insane manufacturing.

Then again, be warned I have no idea about consistency or QC. It might be hit or miss. Who knows.

Great to know, thanks!

recently bought one for my intel MBP 16" - but I was really surprised the graphics card on couldn't properly push certain applications smoothly (I use charting software) off 2k. Upgraded to an 16" m2 max MBP, and the experience couldn't be smoother.

Wouldn't mind monduo to make a 4k display as their next product (I need more screen real estate) , but other than lugging all the weight around I'm quite happy with the purchase. You get a lot of people staring at your setup if you're working in the public though.

I wonder if AR/VR will eventually render this kind of tech obsolete for screen real estate on the go.
Tbh, I dont think so... they have been trying to make VR/AR a thing for a while and it hasnt been bitten by the public...

That's what's so great about it. 😃

But seriously, it could be very useful for some people for certain work purposes. Securities trading, for example.
Well, I am a video editor and I know I would use this thing so much, but I really think anyone can benefit from this.. not just creatives and stock traders -

Hi everyone,
I don't know if I'm alone here who have been trapped by Monduo?
I've bought a double screen 5 months ago but never received it. They constantly said that they will ship it next month, but never did.
I'm not even sure this company exist anymore, or maybe creating a prototype was a way to trap thousands of people like me...

Please smash the like button (to rise-up this comment) to aware others of this fake product.

It is clearly not fake, as many have theirs. Maybe they have some delivery issues, and there is a communication breakdown between you two; you know going in with being a fake product…

Are you talking about the 'new' 14 inch (ca. 36 cm) product instead of the 16 inch (ca. 41 cm) of this review?
