I've taken my slider out since seeing that discoloration from a previous post. Looking at the top of the bezel my slider is scratching up the top of the bezel. Its the point where the bottom and top of the slider connects. I think the act of squeezing the slider at that point and pulling down the bottom eventually scratches it up. I'll keep it as a backup for now.

But I can't wait for the Neo to show up.

The silicone membrane of the Neo allows you to feel the buttons underneath much easier. The Rebel is good, but much thicker, and it is harder to feel response. I prefer the feeling of the Neo.
Thanks. Just ordered a Neo.

Hey guys, Been on the forums for a while but this is my first post. I bought this case and I have to say it is almost top notch. I had the iSkin revo 2 but wanted something a little nicer looking. The CapsuleNeo looks even better in person than in the pics. However, for me where this case is not up to par is the dock covers and the "I" portion of the frame. The "I" frame is tight fitting on the top of the phone but not so much on the bottom. The bottom is just loose enough and wiggles just enough that if you are not constantly checking the port cover and pushing it in it will eventually wiggle loose and may fall out.(unfortunately already happend to me after one day) The headphone cover is snug which is nice but it is a seperate piece and is very small. Iskin has the design beat in that aspect because both port covers are connected to the case which is what Switcheasy should have done to the CapsuleNeo. It is not a lint catcher and has a very nice natural feel. If I had to rate it I'd give it a 8 out of 10. If the "I" frame is addressed and the port covers are attached to the frame it would definately be a 10.
If rated on looks alone it would be 10/10.

Something is up with your case I'd have to say. My port cover goes in really tight and the bottom hardly moves much at all. In fact I used it at the gym today and had no issues with anything falling out or wiggling.

Email them and let them know, you may get a replacement.

Yeah maybe but its really not super loose. I just noticed that it was loose enough to bump that port cover a little bit when putting it in and out of my pocket causing the cover to slowly work its way out. To be honest I'd end up eventually loosing that port cover anyways so it doesn't bug me too much. It would have been nice if they just attached the covers to the "I" frame. The case is still the best case I've found.

For all you Switcheasy Capsule Neo owners out there, I'm concerned again with regards to heat. I constantly play games with my iPhone 3G white (damn there's a lot of good games already) and my only concern is how does the silicon membrane stand up with heat? Does it stick? Does it create like bubbles? Any adverse effect? Does it leave residue or any abnormal effects to the phone?

I play with my phone charged that's why sometimes it heats up really quick. Does anyone had issues with the silicon or the case per se already? (Like forgot inside the car soaked under the sun - hopefully not) Thanks in advance for your replies. I'm still considering to buy this case cause I have the clear Air Jacket already.

I haven't noticed a problem with heat. I have noticed a problem with the screen protector.

A little trick I always use when I get dust under the screen protector during install is to lift it with a piece of tape, then use another piece of tape to remove the dust.

Well the tape that I used to lift the screen protector literally removed a film like layer that is on these screen shields. So now it looks blotchy and like **** and has to be removed. First time I've seen that.

A week after using this case and I think it still is amazing. Scratches hardly show up, it's sturdy, no sags or problems with the silicone. This is the perfect case for me if not juuuust a tad bigger than I normally like. But the design and feel more than make up for that.

I have had a Grifin Elan Form, Contour Flick, Incase Slider, Incipio Gelskin, Agent 18 and now this. This by far is the best yet as far as looks and protection.

How much thicker is the Neo compared to the Flick?

Dude it is like night and day. Granted the flick offers very minor protection, but it does stay true to the feel of the phone. The Neo is much larger than the Flick, however offers way more protection and doesn't scratch as easy as the flick. The Flick was my previous favorite case but it did get pretty scratched up after a lot of use. However it still looked nice because of the gloss finish.

If you want a thin case with minor protection (like, the whole bottom exposed) get the Flick. I still think it's a great case due to it's small size, but I still prefer the Neo now because it feels great and is built like a tank. However it is a little large.

Yeah, I don't think I can go much thicker than the Flick. I like the Flick (wish it was Matte Black), but noticed that the chrome is scratched on both sides where the bottom part snaps on.

I ditched the Flick because I had a feeling that would happen. Plus when you push the phone down on the flick, the phone has quite a bit of movement. Otherwise I really liked the flick, I only wish it had worked with my Best Skin Ever.

I am impressed with the fast delivery from SwitchEasy-europe (Germany). It took only 3 days to deliver to UK. I had the “Rebel Artic” before which was great case but I much prefer the Neo. The Sleep and Volume buttons are far more responsive. The case feels so solid and yet so comfortable in hand.
It was a bit fiddly to put the case on and it took me a few attempts to get it just right. The logo on the back is also a bit naff because it makes the phone wobbles on the desk …but I can live with that.
All in all, the pros out weights the cons and I am very happy with the product.

Got mine

I got my white one and yeah it could be a 10 if it weren't for that silly logo making it wobble on the table. Other than that, this is the perfect case design. The thin membrane to protect the iPhone and smart locking system with 2 different finishes makes so much sense. Best case I have used so far. :D

The logo that wobbles when on a desk...is it that plastic nub on the back?

I'm interested in the case, but that might irritate me!

Yeah its the logo. Its annoying if your a person that uses your phone flat on the desk all day. I just put the wipe pad that Apple supplies under it on the table, helps minimize the wobble. I can deal with it.

Small correction on something I said about this case. It fits like a charm with a best skin ever on the back!

Not only does it fit, but it eliminates that slight movement at the bottom, so it makes it a snug fit all around the phone. Finally a damn case that works with a skin on the back. I guess the first time I tried I just wasn't used to putting the case on. I reapplied my second skin and it works a treat!

Great combo.

I received my Capsule Neo yesterday and for the most part I am impressed. However as some of the others have pointed out I do not care for the Switcheasy logo on the back of the case since it doesn't allow the case to sit flat. The included screen protectors cause rainbows under most lightning. Honestly I prefer the Switcheasy Colors case, and the screen protectors do not cause rainbows or hinder the touch sensitivity.

The case is neat fits perfectly and great look one bad thing about it after one week of use my white case the H part started peeling by itself, no heavy use of it, just by itself I guess my pants rubbed on it too hard?

I'll put some pics of it, i'm tempted to e-mail switcheasy about it

Yeah, the logo on the back actually doubles as part of the 7-point system to keep the case on the phone. Maybe in a revision of the case, they'll just have the 6-point system and make the logo flush, allowing the phone to sit flat. Doesn't bother me too much, since the case is really nice otherwise.

Regarding the colors case: I like the look, but I am not into the red button on the black case. I wish they would have made a completely black colors case. Would be a lot slicker in my opinion.

i kind of hate to post this because i don't want to see good customer service taken advantage of but i just have to say something for the way mr Zoltan handles his company.

i ordered a neo in white and black for me and the wife on a wednesday. i had the black one in my hand on friday. the white one didn't show up. on tuesday i emailed customer service and mr Zoltan emailed me back saying he was sorry and please email him the order number and he would get it out immediately.

while i was looking for the email with the order number, the white one arrived. i emailed mr Zoltan back and told him that it just showed up and all was good but i had a question for him. my black neo which had been on my phone for five days seemed a bit loose at the bottom and i was just wondering if this was to be expected.

he wrote back in five minutes that another black one was on it's way to me to replace the "defective product" (his words) and that he apologized for my inconvenience.

i can tell you this- i will never have a qualm about ordering from switch easy and i will heavily recommend them to my friends. that is what good customer service is all about.

i love this case.
