Pretty much all the reviews have been very positive. Apple nailed it again!

I kind of knew Apple would stay at 1GB RAM. It would cost Apple plenty to increase from 1 to 2GB - maybe $2-$3 per phone!

Now you have to live with it!

Nilay Patel's review of the 6 Plus from The Verge...

http://www.theverge.com/2014/9/16/6155009/apple-iphone-6-plus-review

"The iPhone 6 Plus camera is the best smartphone camera I’ve ever used. Apple’s holding firm at 8 megapixels while everyone else is racing to put ever-bigger numbers on spec sheets, and it feels like the right decision: the iPhone 6 Plus focuses faster, works better in low light, and generally produces the best photos I’ve ever seen from a phone."

So the people ragging on Apple for sticking with a 8MP sensor can SUCK IT!! :D

So, Engadget gave the 6 a 90/100 and the 6 Plus a 87/100. 87 is pretty low for an apple phone on that site.

I want to see an independent test of the battery life in real conditions. It seems Apple gives review phones to people who take Apple's battery figures on faith.

Engadget did a test using video.

The 6 lasted about 10 hours and the Plus had 14% left at that point.

So Engadget says their 6 didn't last as long as the 5S in the battery test, and that was one of my main complaints about the 5S and many others; the battery. Yet, Verge and Walt Mossberg both say its better.

Need more testing....

I always thought the consensus was that Apple's battery figures were conservative and the actual battery life was even a little better than what they say it is.

Seems like most reviews give the slight edge to the 6. Mostly because the slightly bump in specs were not enough to offset the size issue. Makes me second guess my 6+ but I need to use it for a week, play around with a few 6's and make a final call. I mean in a year i'll be onto the next think so no big deal either way.

I say, the size is a matter of opinion.

It is not like a fact like the little iphone 6 getter hotter than the big iphone 6 plus.

It's a big phone; Nilay's review was very positive about the 6+ (he says he's convinced it's the right one for him), but it would be disingenuous to pretend that the Plus is perfectly designed for a phone that size. The top and bottom bezels seem to be a pain point, and Engadget said that the rounded corners made the phone "sharper" while trying to hold it with the tips of their fingers.

Otherwise, the Plus seems to do a lot right. Hopefully these reviews will silence the "my choice was better" arguments and everyone can hold hands (big or small) and agree that all our phones are pretty great.

Yeah, but the 6+ is clocked faster, has a sharper screen and better battery life. But they're both great.

its important to keep in mind that these prelimenary reviews are made by sites that sympathise with apple - otherwise they wouldnt have received the phone early.

pretty dubious reviews when you read a 90 grade to the iphone 6 compared to a 88 to the htc one m8 and 89 to the new moto x.

If you get the 6+ you won't go back IMO.... I could never go back to an iphone once I went to a larger screen.

Yeah, both Engadget and Macworld rated the 6 higher than the Plus. Haven't seen any other sites rank both of them.
