These phones scream
These aren’t just the best iPhones ever made—they might be the best phones ever made. Period.

... Great for those who wants one computing device.
Ouch...from the article....
The iPhone 6 Plus is only slightly smaller than an iPad Mini, which means one-handed use is messy even with Reachability, and holding it up to a normal-size head looks slightly absurd

And speed. 6+ clocked 1.39
As opposed to 1.2 for the 6
?.You wouldn't review a Galaxy and a Note in the same review and then dock the Note points for being bigger would you?
Endgadget just did that lol.
Keep reading. You forgot the faster speed and sharper screen of the 6+. You must have missed that part. It's ok, read them again.
I think its silly to lower the score for a known tradeoff.
You can't review two phones as if they need to hold to a one size fits all standard anymore.
Essentially giving the 6 plus a lower score than the 6 due to size is being biased.
The idea is that the screen size to comfort tradeoff is an inherent choice already made up when deciding that form factor.
So you can't take points off because the product is just doing what its intended to do in its product range. You can't punish it for that.
Most of the reviews are giving all these positive benefits and saying its like looking into an iPad mini and is beautiful...
But then docking it on points for essentially being what it is.
Lol most of the reviewers (especially Verge who got the vibe right) love the Plus in words but then most rated the regular 6 higher on a point scale. --Which I guess is in an effort to not make anyone feel bad in particular and have readers of both sides feel satisfied.
But the reviewers like Verge who had two separate reviews had it right.

You are one jealous dude. Every review is basically saying the same things and you keep commenting like it didn't happen. The 6 is scoring higher. Get over it. In another thread you said you weren't getting the phone if it had less than 1.5 gbs of ram anyway so I guess you can get the note 4.
I have to imagine many 6+ users may be concerned with the comments on how it looks while using it as phone. One reviewer called it absurd or something to that affect.
OMG. Somebody gets it.
Thanks for pointing this out. It's obvious but many miss it.
Apparently the 6 plus runs faster then the 6
So I'm staying with the 6 plus..
The fact that the 6 is scoring higher (albeit just by a slight margin) than the Plus is blowing my mind. Sure, the Plus is huge, but it's a much better overall device based on battery life, camera, and screen alone. The Note 3 never scored less than the S5, and it's also a huge phone, so I don't get it lol.
Side note, still super excited for my Plus. The Note 3 was my favorite device ever based on the screen size, battery life, and versatility. I feel the Plus will even surpass that love for me.
I would not expect much in the way of additional differentiation so quickly. Apple has made it very clear they want to avoid fragmentation. Their biggest advantage over Android phones is that in spite of inferior specifications on paper, everything works smoothly.I personally think with iOS 9 we might see some added benefits of the 6plus vs the 6. Maybe next year there will be a bigger difference between the two devices.
Note 3 should be reviewed separately from S5. Note 3 offer far more functionality than a S4 or S5.I think its silly to lower the score for a known tradeoff.

Iphone plus vs iPhone 6 are essentially the same phone.
That's because the note 3 has the pen and actual features that help to take advantage of its gigantic screen. Apple's use of landscape mode to utilize the larger screen is very underwhelming.
