Reviews are out!

I think you're gonna see a lot of people who looked at the spec bumps of the plus and went for it, but come 12 days in they're gonna be absolutely racking their minds about whether the size is worth it.

I think you may be right though. I think it's absolutely hilarious how much the forum has blown up with people who ordered the bigger iPhone now trying to hang on to anything they can to justify their purchase. In reality, nobody but themselves even cares!! ahhh hahah
 
This forum right now is like the second act of the Avengers movie when they couldn't get along.

We need a snarky, try hard Samsung commercial to get us all back on track.

By the way, as per Avengers, Hulk would use a 6 plus. Think about that.

I've had Note devices in the past and loved them, but even I am seriously doubting whether the height of the 6 plus is something I'm going to be able to tolerate.
 
I think we need to stop taking these reviews as bible and to heart. The reviewers do test a lot of different phones but don't spend anymore time with their own phones than we do. So to put their opinion in front of ours on what size or phone is better doesn't make sense. It's their opinion. What works best for you in daily life for a phone is gonna vary from another. Don't worry about what someone wrote who has totally different size hands and concept of what is to big. Everyone uses their phones differently. In the end it's your phone and if it works for then you have your best review....:)

But what about the higher resolution and faster clock speed, and better battery life of the plus. Obvious winner. right? right?! :eek:

I find it hard to believe that a collective group of people (iPhone fanboys), who have always rejected the "spec wars" with Android phones are gonna resort to starting them between two iPhones. Wanna talk about hypocrisy? lol

Ha! No doubt... it's getting silly -- like "Samsung better highlight this in a commercial" silly.
 
The reviews are truly incredible. You can tell all the reviewers were really struggling to find anything negative to say about either device. All of them were blown away by the form factor, performance and experience, and the camera is just insanely great in every situation.

I think the take home here is these iPhones truly are the best smartphones anyone has ever made. Whether you go for the 6 or the 6 plus, there isn't another phone on the planet that comes close to competing with these amazing new iPhones.

I can't imagine anyone holding an older model - whether it's a 4s or 5s, will be able to resist upgrading. This is a major upgrade for anyone who already owns any kind of iPhone, and for everyone else the 6 or 6 plus is an essential purchase. Apple has done it again.

I cannot wait for Friday to come around.

Specs between two Apple devices are a big difference than comparing the specs of an Android and an Apple device. For one, Apple creates both its hardware and software so they know how to create the device to support the software to its fullest potential. You can see this on every computer they have ever made. They always have slower processors if you just take the numbers at face value, but when it comes to performance a lot of the time you will get equal if not better performance on the mac (unless you're talking gaming rigs).

Androids will never do anything for me, ever. I won't use a phone that doesn't have software specifically created for a device. Just always feels slow and chuggy. Ewwww.

The difference is that apple released both at the same time so the natural response and feeling would be an opposing view towards eachother. Samsung releases them separately so there is a defining difference in flagship genre. To me apple just released the best phone and phablet. :cool:

It's pretty funny that people have gotten so bent about the un-Appleness of the antenna bands, but we never really freaked out about the micron matched plastic insets at the top and bottom of the 5 generation units. Was that somehow classier?

Waiting for the 6s. While it's tempting I'll let the bugs shake out of everything.
 
And the winner is.

I'm glad I ordered both. After reading the pro reviews I have come to the conclusion the 6 is a better device over all. I have also come to the conclusion the 6 plus is a better device over all. At this point I may just keep both and swap sims as needed. Lawd dee mercy.

i wanted a tablet like phone from Apple and now I can get one. Im thrilled that its pocketable as well. People can gripe and complain all they want about me liking my phone but that wont stop me from liking it.

I was only asking because I was under the impression that trading money for product was enough and I never heard of this "True Apple Fan" status you claimed to achieve.

Congratulations on your promotion.
 
Has there been any kind of elaboration on the alleged stuttering/performance issues on the plus? Is this because apps haven't been optimized for the screen yet?

seems like the tradeoff for the larger size brought down scores because everything else seems better on the plus model. So users wanting something a tad more portable brought down scores.
i personally can't wait to have a big phone. small iPhones over the last 6 years have been getting to me lately.
