Mine was ordered 13th November (a month ago), with an ETA 11th-18 th December.

Still processing, so there are people in worst situation than yours :(

I have you beat. I ordered a 2.4/16/256 on November 12. The order is still in the processing stage! Delivery estimate since I ordered is December 10-17. Ridiculous.

My problem is that I'm Spanish, and I'll come back to Spain 23rd December, and no returning to US, so imagine my concern! :p

Wrong quote, sorry.

Call apple and ask for a compensation. mine was ordered 12-11, same specs as yours. Sent 05-12 and delivered 10-12!!

2.8 i7 / 16 / 256

ordered nov 13.

still "processing items"
still "available to ship: 3-4 weeks"
still "delivers: 10-17 december"

we're all pretty much on the same boat here.
what I've noticed is that some friends who ordered a 15" with 16GB RAM and 512GB Flash have received them in less than 3 weeks.
sometimes in 2.

it seems that the 15" is higher in the queue, and that is really annoying for us requiring portability and power at once.

excruciating

It's really frustrating when you customize a 15" rMBP with 16GB RAM and the shipping time is 24 hours, yet nearly 2 weeks later, which is the max time Apple told me my 13" rMBP with 16GB RAM would ship out is still sitting at "processing items".

^Congrats!

welp

Just checking in. Ordered a 2.6Ghz, 16GB, 256GB 13" RMBP on 29 Nov. Current status is Processing (dispatched 1 - 2 weeks) with the estimated delivery between 12 Dec - 19 Dec which is starting to look highly unlikely.

I ordered the same day and same specs but I got the 2.4 i5 and I'm in the sme situation. My delivery is 13th-20th though, but I was hoping I'd have it for Christmas...

Exactly the same as you, but with the i7...same estimated delivery and still processing...plus I'm leaving for the holidays on monday so I won't be able to receive the mac...I'll have to ask a friend to ship it to me... :(

So because of the soldered RAM the configuration is a production issue and not just a case of "adding it later and ship". And for some reasons the availability of logic boards for the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina with 16 GB RAM is restrained and therefore the long wait, right?

I wonder if this is a case of Apple underestimating the demand for 16 GB RAM or if there are technical reasons behind the long delivery time...

Got my computer finally and guess what ... Image Retention out of the box. The migration assistant window was stuck on the screen after completion ... Going back to Apple. Dont know if I should ask for refund or replacement as all 13" seems to be LG and suffering from IR at some point.

Delayed again...My email from Apple...

'The demand for the product you ordered has been higher than anticipated. We are shipping as quickly as possible but cannot meet the dispatch date we previously estimated for you'

Not at all. The majority of 13" have no IR issues.

+1 Mine is flawless

Have you ever had the same window open for more than 30 minutes/one hour open ? Cause mine passed the checkboard test (20 minutes) and the migration assistant window stayed on my screen after one hour ... I really hope your screen are Indeed flawless but so far i haven't seen one ... Your use just have not cause IR so far but somewhere down the road it will most likely happen ... That's why some people thinks they don't have IR ... They just haven't done anything to cause it :/

So you're saying that, basically, every late 2013 13" rMBP owner buys a defective product out of the box? Are you sure that this situation applies to all the machines?

Well, just placed my order for 2.6 / 16GB / 256GB and won't be seeing it until mid January I suppose.

Had to return my 2.4 / 8GB / 256GB because I was running out of memory a lot :(

Picked up my new rMBP 13" 2.4 i5/16GB RAM/256GB SSD from the Apple store yesterday! Ordered on Nov 16th with an original estimate delivery of December 23rd.

For comparison, I ordered my Mbp retina 13" (16gb ram, 256gb ssd, stock CPU) on Nov 2 and was suppose to arrive on nov 12 but got it on Nov 8th.

Sorry it's still flawless. If you purchased products for the intension of finding flaws, then I don't think any product would be for you.
