Lets just hope that there were legit missed scans...

Does UPS deliver on Saturday? :(

Nope. Some customer centers are open on Saturdays (MINE ISN'T) but that's useless unless you've requested to have your shipment held there.

UNLESS....by some dumb chance, many of these are, in fact, already stateside? I'm not saying they are, but there is a crap ton of anomalies happening right now. The frequency of customs checks, mechanical failures, and unplanned reschedules is either:
1. hiding the truth as to the true status
2. some dumb **** luck on the part of UPS/Apple
3. a really **** way of bending the vast majority of the 8:01ers over a barrel

My family owns a business that ships hundreds of packages per day across the country. They kicked UPS to the curb years ago in favor of FedEx. Now I know why.

A phone case doesn't matter but I had UPS quote me from the apple leather one Monday... on Monday The case was somewhere in Texas... no updates AT ALL... apple quoted originally Tuesday and well.. Tuesday morning woke up out for delivery...

Now I know what your thinking... it's a case it was in the states..

Well this could mean... they could abide from apples "delivery set" in my situation the phone for Friday... who knows right..?

Ironically, I have never had this with UPS. FedEx drop kicks every freakin item onto my porch. Talking to everyone helps nothing. I have returned more fedex crap as damaged goods than I care to admit. My driver is a total ass.

BTW - like the updated sig.

I don't understand how Apple and UPS can BLATANTLY KEEP LYING TO US by saying it'll be here tomorrow! They have the same eyes we do! From Korea, the phones still require about 13 hours of flight just to get to Louisville. They still have to fly to other airports across the country to all of the other local hubs. That is logistically impossible if the phones are still sitting in Korea.

Considering todays flight just literally disappeared from flightaware for those still stuck in Korea (8:01 - pretty certain that was our flight as we were next in line from previous tracking info from other people)... and the fact we haven't been notified that the flight is delayed from weather or experiencing any mechanical failures (which we should have if it was still on the ground), I'm hoping that sh&% is in the air and once it hits Alaska we'll know.

In previous tracking, flights always left (even if we thought we were on it and actually weren't hence we didn't get an update in tracking). But this mofo just done disappeared!

Please be in the air lol.

Glad I got my new iPhone 7 Plus phone case last week. Looks great on my desk. Actually, its lonely. :(

I think you would be right... most of us with original 23rd delivery didn't get the mechanical breakdown thing... mines just sitting there...

yes. It's "only" a case.
But I'm also looking at this long term. Ok, we are in Korea Section 801. We've been there for almost 2 full days. There is another group gathering behind us, and then behind them. There will be a regular traffic jam in place. If we are 2 days there, each group can expect about 2 days to clear the batch before them.

All I'm saying is something isn't adding up. Forget the "UPS said...." and "Apple said..." That is bull ****. But NOBODY goes through this many delays in a window of 2 days. ALL OVER their logistical area. And how many phones of the batch ahead of us made it through?

uh uh - something stinks. It smells like ****

If you look at FlightRadar, you can see that the flight from Anchorage to Louisville does not have a tail number. Yesterday the same plan that came from Incheon also went to Louisville. Seems like there is something going on with the flight data.

Crap, well I'm waiting for it to appear.. sigh...
UPS is at fault here. Don't be mad at Apple, their device malfunctions and other delayed shipments are on them. I hope they get grand notice to deliver as soon as possible from multiple customers from this *widespread* delay on their part.

Saw an interesting thing said in the main MR article thread:

"I think it's adorable how people think they're tracking "their" phone.
Lol, it's like going to get the $10 you deposited in your bank account & being shocked the bill you got doesn't have the phone # you remember writing on it.
With a shipping of this volume- MASS amounts are sent out to major population areas. Then they can slap a label on yours @ the last point possible.
This type of flexibility allows your shipping times to reduce seemingly impossible amounts. It also can make it appear as if your shipment is bouncing all over, as the logistics software updates your item to be delivered from a DIFFERENT batch."

The above makes sense given that Apple seems to be confident that we will get our phones tomorrow. They have other phones stateside that they can "deem" ours.

I am literally having my reproductive organs removed Monday. Apple can't even throw a bitch a bone to give me something to do in the hospital.

Good luck.

I haven't even taken mine out of the bag in the trunk of my car. It's too annoying.

Am I the only one in the Oct 4-10 dates that's still in processing?

Mine is still processing (10/5 from VZW)
