That's okay. We might as well still be processing because our phones are who knows where in BFE Korea.

I would actually be more comfortable with a processing status, because then at least my phone would be in Apple's care. Now it's in UPS's hands and they can't seem to tell a phone apart from a goddamn brick.

So I just got off the phone with Apple and UPS. They both expect the delivery date to stay Friday. I am in the 8:01 crowd BTW. UPS said that Apple ships this in a special way where there are batches of packages and we should see tracking resume stateside...

I have UPS my choice and am thinking about asking for the package to be held at the distribution center. This will make it available for pick up on Saturday if it doesn't quite get to my state in time to deliver tomorrow. The agent said I have until 7 PM tomorrow night in my time zone to make the decision to have it held at the distribution center so I can see if it ships tomorrow before deciding do that. In case this option is helpful to others...

"I think it's adorable how people think they're tracking "their" phone.
Lol, it's like going to get the $10 you deposited in your bank account & being shocked the bill you got doesn't have the phone # you remember writing on it.
With a shipping of this volume- MASS amounts are sent out to major population areas. Then they can slap a label on yours @ the last point possible.
This type of flexibility allows your shipping times to reduce seemingly impossible amounts. It also can make it appear as if your shipment is bouncing all over, as the logistics software updates your item to be delivered from a DIFFERENT batch."

The above makes sense given that Apple seems to be confident that we will get our phones tomorrow. They have other phones stateside that they can "deem" ours.

I call BS given they are in UPS's hands as soon as they leave the factory. UPS surely isn't slapping labels on pallets of phones in Louisville.

Yeah but our phones will be in UPS's hands eventually. At least you'll have your phone by then...

Were you in the batch that did the Korea-China loop or were you on the 11:30 arrival scan in ZZ?

China, Korea, China, Korea...

That's a good story until you realize that when the phone shipped, the serial number was put in your support profile... I screen printed it when I got the "shipped" notice. Dollars to donuts it matches the one on the box I (eventually) get from Apple through UPS.

China, Korea, China, Korea...
I just wanted to make sure. It looks like those of use that have the 11:30 Arrival Scan in ZZ haven't gotten any of those updates saying a mechanical failure or weather issues. Every apple rep I've talked to has been pretty sure I'd be getting it tomorrow, which seems suspicious if it's really still in Korea. I just wish we knew what was happening!

At this rate I'm honestly doubting that. It's been pushed back every delivery date it's gotten. Supposedly it'll be here tomorrow but it's still in Korea so who knows how that will happen.

I thought that as well,But I thought the phones coming to us from Online orders are already assigned to us since we have the Serial Numbers in our Support Profile.

Good point. I just want to believe!

maybe the north korean's high jacked our phones in retaliation for not helping them because of their recent floods

Hmmm. That's interesting. But what about the Apple invoice that is attached to the outside of the box? Does UPS actually put this on?

Well, if my iPhone was originally slated for 9/23/16 delivery then changed to 9/26/16 back to 9/23/16 delivery then back to 9/26/16 delivery...will I get my iPhone tomorrow? This is all from UPS... ;w;

Apple said 9/23/16 in the original email, if it matters.
