Well, if my iPhone was originally slated for 9/23/16 delivery then changed to 9/26/16 back to 9/23/16 delivery then back to 9/26/16 delivery...will I get my iPhone tomorrow? This is all from UPS... ;w;

Apple said 9/23/16 in the original email, if it matters.
That's what I'm wondering as well, apple said I'll get my order on Monday the 26th. However UPS said I would get it Thursday, then Friday, and now there no delivery date.

Apple rep I just talked to said UPS will deliver on Saturday in some areas? True?
I doubt it highly, unless UPS owns up to their mistake, which I highly doubt they will going on the canned responses we have been getting. Saturday delivery is extremely expensive.

Same exact boat as you!!! We shall see!!!

Same exact situation here. I just got a call back from Apple Online Store Manager who said she doesn't see anything wrong with my delivery for tomorrow. She said disregard it saying it's in Korea. It's not. She thinks the UPS system missed scans and that Apples original date of 23rd will still hold. She's calling me At 8am tomorrow to keep me updated on anything she learns. I'll post after I speak with her.

Good thing my hub open till 12pm.. if that's the case meh

Apple has 'staged' products at a Tennessee warehouse in Mt. Juliet TN before. Maybe they are stockpiling these orders there and they will go through Louisville and be loaded on the outbound flights in the AM. Hence why all of the tracking is hosed and basically stopped. We could be part of 'launch 2.0' which is basically one week from the first one. Ava liability for the 7 model appears to be readily available in most stores now, just not the Plus and certainly not JB.

So I decided to check online and found that an Apple store an hour from me has a 7+ 128GB black in stock. My pre-order is still at "preparing for shipment". Wonder if it's possible to cancel it and go with the in store pickup. I wouldn't think I could order two phones via AUP at the same time without one being cancelled first.

I've seen in the thread the employee at a Apple Store can cancel it.. I would attempt that if I were you nothing to lose either case?

Baesd on my screenshot, I guess I'm in the #801Incheon group??? Hope this means I have a chance at a 9/23 delivery... been hearing conflicting info between UPS and Apple reps., depending on time of day!!!

So if I don't want to wait for Monday delivery can I get it from customer center on Friday night when it arrives or even Saturday?anyone know ?

I don't understand how Apple and UPS can BLATANTLY KEEP LYING TO US by saying it'll be here tomorrow! They have the same eyes we do! From Korea, the phones still require about 13 hours of flight just to get to Louisville. They still have to fly to other airports across the country to all of the other local hubs. That is logistically impossible if the phones are still sitting in Korea.

What you aren't thinking about is IF UPS hasn't updated the tracking for our orders they could be sitting in hubs waiting to be delivered tomorrow. Both Apple and UPS (after grilling them like a hostile witness) agreed that it's very possible scans were missed or not updated yet. They both said they've seen where customers got their deliveries and the tracking still showed as not updated. We shouldn't be hoping our iPhones make the next flight 99, we should hope that our phones are stateside and will be delivered according to the dates originally given by Apple. Maybe UPS is having software issues with the updating part of their system affecting some customers. I no longer care about planes and flights. If my iPhone isn't here by Apples date then I will cancel. Apple has to be accountable. UPS is only accountable to Apple.

Okay so Apple keeps saying that UPS will deliver on time blah blah blah but Apple originally quoted me delivery today the 22nd. And my phone is still stuck in Incheon. But now Apple changed it to tomorrow the 23rd. But UPS still says information unavailable. This is just a mess that both companies just can't figure out.

I think it's semi-good news that a number of people that were quoted a 9/23 date from Apple have been told they should be delivered tomorrow. UPS has no legal obligation to update scan locations for tracking. As long as they know where their shipments are, they don't need to scan anything else - that portion is just a convenience factor for the customer. If they're inundated with way too many to scan, they can opt to skip it because they know the bulk have to go to the US. If they have too many pallets of iPhones to fly to the typical routes - China > Korea > Alaska > etc - they may just be stocking as many as they can and will update (like a lot of reps have stated) once they can sort them prior to their final destinations.

Obviously other issues are going on, but I'd imagine they got to a point where they were so slammed, they said f**k it and decided to just focus on getting them to the sort facilities as quickly as possible.

All in all, it is what it is. I really hope I get it tomorrow.. but if not, I surely won't die if I have to wait.

I was originally quoted 10/4 - 10/10 delivery date when I ordered the phone and I chose to submit the order with that knowledge. I would like to get the phone before that but if i get it in that time frame then I it will be acceptable. I would love to have my phone also but some of you are getting awfully worked up about a phone that is technically not late. Go outside. Look at the sun. Breath fresh air. The quality of our problems is pretty good compared to others in the world if all we have to worry about is a piece of electronics.

Problem I have with Apple's story about all our phones are already in the US and will be delivered tomorrow as promised is that if they're here then SURELY at least one of us would have some sort of UPS update that would indicate that the damn thing isn't still sitting in Korea. Apple is full of it yet again. They don't know any better than any of us....just trying to get us off the phone or out of online chat so they can lie to the next person. It would be great to have to eat crow tomorrow but I'm pretty sure it's not on the menu.

Exactly, my friend. Things are pretty damn good if this is the worst we have to worry about.
