Silent recall
To fix hissing, yellow screen, and static on the lightning port.

Only explanation... they are using a weather machine.

Not sure what group I was in, posting these to see if they help you guys figure out if you're in the same i group I was.

You're the 8:01 group. However you didn't seem to be in on the China/Korea loop. Yours made it out. Lucky for you...BAD for the rest of us :(

Did everyone buy direct from apple.com and select T-Mobile or has anyone bought from T-Mobile and actually received any phones yet? I know TMo gives shipping estimates too, but I am GUESSING these are all direct as I think TMobile stuff would come to the USA and be re-packaged and sent on to you?

They would never do this. As every phone on that shipment is already assigned, and the sim cards are all assigned. So meaning if someone else got the phone stuck for shipment opened it up, it would activate using your number. They can always take out the sim card but still. They wont divert stock for us. Plain and simple.
That makes a lot of sense /thanks

People who are opening a claim... don't waste your time... Apple promised you your phone by OCT 10th and you will still get it before then.... they have simply posted UPS shipping information on your order... they have made no promises outside of the OCT 4-10th date... UPS on the other hand did schedule deliveries for the 22-23... once Apple gave the product to them... UPS has since went back on this. It is neither apples fault nor their responsibility at this point. If it goes beyond oct 10th then maybe they will do somthing but still not likely.

Yes Apple used UPS for shipping but they don't exactly have a ton of choices... they didn't ship knowing that UPS couldn't handle it... perhaps next year they will use FedEx...

I know you may be joking, but the silent recall has crossed my mind. Mine went from processing to preparing for shipment by 9/17 and now no new updates. Sounds like something happened between the PFS time and the 6 days thereafter since it hasn't shipped.

One unsettling fact is that there is now THREE flights from Incheon to Anchorage, all within the next 12-14 hours.

That puts them in Louisville in about 25-30 hours, if there are no weather delays, mechanical delays, customs delays, planes struck by lightening, etc.

Saturday is a possibility for most assuming the phones make it to Louisville sometime late Friday afternoon.

How do we do that? And I have a 2-hr delivery window that I paid for and apparently that won't do any good :/

Because UPS has had the product for days... and you are still getting it before the date that Apple promised... what exactly are they to blame for.... if you paid more for special shipping ask UPS for a refund.

I bought mine from apple.com and selected T-Mobile. Are all of us poor suckers, T-Mobile users?

Mine is in Inchon. I'm sure there are people that are in the same group I'm in. When do you think I should expect delivery? It was originally supposed to get here today, but I'm thinking now, Monday? Also, does anyone know what exactly the mechanical failure is?

LMAO! If I were more chill deficient, I'd sing this right in this library!

Same thing happened to my order. It's been at PFS since Saturday with a pending charge on my CC. Now the pending charge is gone and no change is status.

Order confirmation 3:14 AMET, 128 GB 7+ Black

Just shipped with delivery scheduled for Sept 28.

You're being a little bit disingenuous by posting that screen... Apple never change the dates they are simply showing you UPS's tracking info... UPS made that promise not Apple... why don't you post a screenshot of this screen?

Apple keeps saying they will deliver tomorrow. I'm still going off of that. I still think they are holding deliveries for tomorrow and this UPS delay thing is a bit bogus, I admit I am surprised they would take this big of a beating to hold deliveries but come tomorrow AM we will know.

Nothing to really reimburse tho? Honestly never had this happen so wondering what he heck Apple will do for us! How do we open a claim?
I'm not sure how they'll reimburse. Obviously they won't reimburse us with faster shipping as our date will have already passed, but I'm sure we'll get something. I was told to either try over chat or call Apple support and tell them what happened and that'll open up a case
