The problem is not everyone is posting their configuration, size, and color. I'd hope at least that they are going by order time for each possible configuration.

I just received shipping confirmation tonight at 7:30PM CST. I ordered a matte black plus 128 GB ATT from the Apple Store app on the ATT Next plan and received my confirmation email at 2:16AM on 9/9 (16 minutes after preorders started)

I blame Apple bc why do they tell me I need to pre order a phone so I can have it early?

So I get up at 255am on a workday to pre order a phone, that I'm not getting for at least s month?

Yet people are reserving and purchasing a phone and having it that day. Does that seem right to you?

I agree with you 100%!!!! I have always per-ordered and always sit around and wait for it! This will be my last year per-ordering.
 
I kind of agree, but at the same time, what's annoying is I'm literally seeing my phone available for reservations the last 4 days in a row and because I've been labeled as "shipped" since early Monday morning, I couldn't cancel. add to that all these cryptic delays, it's just down right odd.

Spending a week in "shipping and transit" and going practically nowhere doesn't seem normal.

Our "weather delay" didn't even pop up for like 8 hours. I'm pretty sure any delay in weather when it comes to aviation is noted minutes after a delayed take off for air traffic control. Instead, the flight just disappeared. So odd.

So when it's all said and done, yes we'll get our phones earlier than expected, but it doesn't have to be so mysterious about when to actually expect it since we have lives and jobs and they need to be signed for or picked up.

First world problems? Absolutely. But at the end of the day as a first time pre-orderer, it's still a service and for me, it hasn't been a good experience.
Trust me I definitely understand. I just spent 5 days in PFS before moving to shipped last night. It becomes very discouraging ya know? I think dealing with that just taught me that I can't will my phone to me any quicker than whatever time I have to wait. So. I'm at the point now where it gets here when it gets here lol. But believe me. I was told LOADS of crap when I had questions abt why my order was sitting in that status for so long when others with the same dates as myself had moved on and it got BEYOND frustrating. But it's gonna work out for everyone. We're all in this together so it's gonna be okay and it'll work out.

Good post and spot on for the most part. But there are some of us who aren't hoping for an early delivery anymore...we're looking at getting our phones after what Apple said to us. There is no way I'm getting my phone tomorrow like Apple is saying if it is still sitting in Korea as of this very moment. Physically impossible.

Before I head to bed and dream about UPS flights, pallets, scanners and junk I just wanted to say thanks to everyone.

I've been stalking this thread for quite some time now and have to say most everyone here seems like really cool peeps. (some haters)

The conversations have been awesome and informative. Wherever the hell my phone may be it is fun doing and seeing all the analysis of UPS shipping processes and theories of how Apple moves (and apparently holds) stock.

I look forward to waking up tomorrow (and God willing seeing an Out For Delivery notice) to check and see what everyone posted here. No matter what the haters say, I say keep it up. :)

I'm one of the few who got a Rose Gold model but it still seems to be stuck with everyone else's. Also I keep seeing commercials for Korea Air on Hulu and I think it's taunting me.

I agree! I have enjoyed "hanging" out with many of you! Even if we complained, bi*ched/moaned etc.....it's been a good run. Most of you guys/gals seem cool :)
 
UPS is a joke! Not a single story of theirs is consistent. I was told a large group of phones (several thousand) are stuck in customs and will continue to move through the process once they are cleared. I reminded him the process is a mess and the tracking is inconsistent and delayed, he denied that to be true and told me to continue to follow the package through the system. I have no idea what the true story is......
 
Oh and once again....there is my matte black 7+ 128G AT&T in a nearby store. I could have picked up numerous phones in-store in the time I've waited for this damn phone stuck in Korea. :mad::(:eek::oops:o_O

I canceled my pre-order for a 256GB Black iPhone 7 Plus. Tired of waiting and I can't ditch my Note 7 with it's amazing display and camera. I also still need the audio jack. Hopefully the iPhone 8 wins me over.....

I suspect most of these will be delivered Monday. (both of mine included) One of mine says weather delay, the other says mechanical. I always get a kick of these launch day deliveries. Always some kind of issue.

my JB+ is waiting for delivery tomorrow! Im sorry you are all stuck in UPS limbo with no real answers and I dont mean to rub it in, I just wanted to share my excitement. Hopefully a miracle will happen and you will all wake up to someone knocking at your door.

I just refreshed the iStockNow page and it went from being a lot of green earlier today to almost all red now. Funny what a few hours difference makes.
