Wow, I just called Apple to check on my order but if you tell the automated answering service you are checking on a missing or delayed order it tells you that due to an abnormally high call volume they aren't taking calls at this time. I tried calling the sale area for iPhone 7 but that is busy and you stay on hold forever. I ordered at 7:15 am CST just 5 hours after launch and my 128 GB matte black ATT iPhone 7 Plus is still processing. No credit card charge and no further emails. Oct. 4-Oct 10 estimated delivery.

Well folks...I have 1 of my iPhones in hand!! Sorry for the hubby...I'm taking this one! He is going to have to wait for my elusive stuck in Korea phone! (In all fairness, he didn't decide to upgrade until last night)!

Don't worry tho, I'm still on vacation so I'll continue to frequent this thread because my poor iPhone in Korea still needs me...hahahaha!

Our phones are on a plane that's either broken down, stuck in a storm, affected by an earthquake, stopped by Apple, stopped by UPS, or stopped by customs. We've all been told one of those various things at different points by people "in the know."

You forgot the "security" excuse that was thrown out there...

Ordered 7:15 EST and same. No change since order.

I dont see a point in this argument. Your "promised" ship date was 11-4 to 11-10. so be happy you are getting it earlier. This is not apples fault. Its UPS fault.

I blame Apple bc why do they tell me I need to pre order a phone so I can have it early?

So I get up at 255am on a workday to pre order a phone, that I'm not getting for at least s month?

Yet people are reserving and purchasing a phone and having it that day. Does that seem right to you?

So as of this very moment, my order status on Apple's website is still saying I'm supposed to get my phone delivered tomorrow. It even has the weather delay mentioned on there as well....but it's still saying tomorrow delivery. Do I believe it? Not at all. I've been waiting with an open chat window for a bit now...what are the chances that someone at Apple is going to actually try to help me out? Probably about the same chances that my phone is actually going to be here tomorrow like Apple's website says.

It's like the plane on lost - the plane either went down and all the phones with it or they are all safe living normal lives in America

There are no answeRs just questions and meaningless status updates

Don't know if anyone has had a similar type of response but I'm part of the 8:01 group (originally 23rd delivery) but UPS just responded to me on facebook after I asked about the delays and included my tracking number.

My order for exact same model went through at 5:45 CST, and mine is still in processing. I wonder what the latest order time for this phone is that has actually shipped.

On my order page at Apple.com, they acknowledged the weather delay, but have not changed or updated my estimated delivery. It is still showing tomorrow. Should be an interesting 12 hours or so.

Yea they have no idea. Some people that were in the same situation as us last night got their phones today so that just put that excuse to bed.

From another thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...een-u-s-and-asia.2000099/page-8#post-23568184

I just tweeted this to UPS...

"iPhone 7+ shipment delayed for days in Korea due to “severe whether” - its mostly sunny there with 0% precipitation. What’s up @UPS?"

and got this reply across 5 tweets from @UPSHELP within a few seconds...

"We apologize for this scan. Your package have not been delayed. Upon,...

further scans our system will self-correct and provide a Scheduled Delivery Date.

At this time, the actual scheduled delivery date is not known until the

shipments actually arrive in the U.S. We encourage you to utilize Notify me with Updates on

to receive free text or email alerts on your shipment. ^LG"

For what it's worth.

I would like to know that also. If they are going in order by time, however, it wouldn't explain those that ordered later in the day or even days later and still have received this model phone (via UPS not store reserve).

Are they really trying to say that all of us who have scans arriving in Korea really aren't in Korea but still in China? Wtf is that all about? This is getting stupid.

Not good at all...
I've been trying to catch up but there's so many pages since I last looked this morning before work. Like. You guys everything will hopefully be okay. Mines shipped a couple days later than everyone in here but I haven't seen any scans since the initial one in ZZ. Have a delivery date from UPS saying 09/26 Apple says 09/27. I'm watching y'all situation to see what mines may look like. I know you guys have been told A LOT smh. But. Let's all just have a tiny bit more patience for just a little while longer. We've all been waiting since 09/09 basically. If we've waited that long we can wait a few more days. Shoot hopefully just 12 or so more hours for most of you. Everything will work out *please don't mob me I'm just trying to throw some sunshine out into the thread lol*

The problem is not everyone is posting their configuration, size, and color. I'd hope at least that they are going by order time for each possible configuration.

I kind of agree, but at the same time, what's annoying is I'm literally seeing my phone available for reservations the last 4 days in a row and because I've been labeled as "shipped" since early Monday morning, I couldn't cancel. add to that all these cryptic delays, it's just down right odd.

Spending a week in "shipping and transit" and going practically nowhere doesn't seem normal.

Our "weather delay" didn't even pop up for like 8 hours. I'm pretty sure any delay in weather when it comes to aviation is noted minutes after a delayed take off for air traffic control. Instead, the flight just disappeared. So odd.

So when it's all said and done, yes we'll get our phones earlier than expected, but it doesn't have to be so mysterious about when to actually expect it since we have lives and jobs and they need to be signed for or picked up.

First world problems? Absolutely. But at the end of the day as a first time pre-orderer, it's still a service and for me, it hasn't been a good experience.
