I've been scoping out this thread for updates and to compare notes. Never thought I'd come back to find some tool white-knighting for a multinational company and playing thought police for people that are venting their frustration. Maybe chill out.

Jason, Well said. Even though everyone is entitled to their opinion, we see this every year someone trolling the boards looking to get a rise out of people. Just pay no attention and he will go away and annoy other people.
 
Well, looks like it'll be Monday delivery for me at best. It would take a small miracle to get to me tomorrow. Only one UPS flight into OKC tomorrow from Tulsa. No direct UPS flights into Tulsa tomorrow from Louisville. So best I can figure is the only Saturday option would be Louisville - Kansas City - Tulsa - OKC. Not likely.

I haven't been able to check due to work...I got an update! I'm sure my iPhone is on UPS 105 headed to Louisville since it had a departure scan at Anchorage at 3:09 PM.



Great! I assume my iPhone will be on that flight as well. My phone should be in Portland before 6:00 AM! Does anyone know if UPS will deliver tomorrow to those who had to deal with their mechanical delays and other delays?

is that why after 3:39 pm departure scan, no other activity ?

Thanks. I just put him in permanent ignore. Great feature. I'm sure Apple and UPS wish they had that feature when we call or initiate a chat. Unfortunately all they have is that database of lies to pull from. Can't wait until I speak to the Online Apple Store Manager tomorrow morning and she tries to tell me that they did everything they could to try and make the Saturday delivery happen but due to circumstances beyond Apples control it just wasn't to be. If she tries and force a stupid leather case my way again I won't be having it.

I think there's a chance for me for Saturday delivery. There's a flight to Miami getting in at around 6:40 tomorrow morning. It'll be really tight, but we'll see

You should of got your phone on the 16th if you preorder in first 30 minutes of launch. It's not our fault Apple drop the ball.
Anybody see movement for iPhone with October 4-October 10 delivery window? Mine has been processing since I pre-ordered on September 9. (Black iPhone 7+ 32 Gb T-Mobile) I know I need to be patient but it's just so hard. I placed an order on September 9 at 00 hours 22 minutes

Something I did, which may or may not be accurate, I went and "created a shipment" from Anchorage to my City with a shipping date of 9/23. It gave options for Saturday delivery, therefore it could be here on Saturday. I tested with Honolulu too, just out of curiosity and there was no Saturday delivery. So, for those of you on pins and needle, that could either 1) give you some piece of mind tomorrow is an option; or 2) make you go even more crazy if it gives the Saturday option but it doesn't show up tomorrow.

Anyone from Los Angeles with a 3:30 PM departure from Alaska? I'm preparing for a Monday delivery, but if they do happen to do any deliveries tomorrow I would have to make special arrangements since I had it delivered to my work address :/. I feel pretty confident it won't arrive to Monday however. Just hope it's not Tuesday or I'll be even more frustrated lol.
 
By the way, I chatted with Apple Specialist couple hours ago. I explained that I didn't get my phone today which is date Apple promised it to me when it shipped. He didn't even hesitate to open a case. In fact, he offered it. Not exactly what I wanted as cases are mainly for lost phones which mine isn't (at least not anymore), but if that is what it takes to get some compensation (free product or gift card) then okay then. If my phone does get lost (not likely) on it's way to me, I'll get a refund (also had option of repleacment, but after this shipping experience I didn't chose that). I also asked the Specialist to state that if just delivered late I'd like a gift card or free product. I'd prefer the gift card. We'll see. Specialist said someone will be in contact in 24-48 hours.

I would honestly strongly advise you to consider cancelling and trying your luck in stores. That's just a really long time to be in processing. Geez.
