I suspect bulk customs shipment
Your phone is in there and will get new tracking
If you are correct, I am beyong ecstatic and people should see movement soon as I also experienced the movement last night with CC and PTS. Hopefully this is my phone and not someone elses apple watch as those weigh .70. Another member in the apple thread said his/her phone was .70 though too, mostly .50 for the pluses.

I suspect plusses weigh a bit more than non-plusses. Did you order a +? I do recall the watch box last year was substantially heavier than I expected though.

I ordered the 7+. Santa Monica is not where I live though, haha

What was the departure time on UPS? Was it from China?

Departed Suzhou at 11:55pm local time and arrived at Shanghai at 12:10am local time....

a bunch of us are on this flight
Suzhou, China 09/17/2016 11:55 P.M. Departure Scan

altho mine does not hit shanhai
im hoping it's on a flight to Anchorage. they last about 16 hours which would land midnight pst

I'm ready for all of us to become overnight Air Traffic Controllers and experience the flightaware madness like the other thread did!
Already been on there - lol - looks like two flights getting ready to land in Anchorage in next hour. If today is accurate picture of each day, two more flights will depart Asia tomorrow afternoon (our time) and land same time tomorrow night in Anchorage. That's if I am reading the chart correctly.

Can you share the flight link? thank you :)

that was just from the UPS tracking using the order #. I looked on flightaware.... i can't find a flight. im not sure.
im a little puzzled cuz the one guy said he saw a transfer at Shanhai which is right next to Suzhou. so not sure.

so maybe its the facility not the airport?
i see a flight from shanghai landing at 9:37 alaska time. that could fit the bill

Terrible decision by the logistics folks at Apple to plan a iPhone release around a nation Chinese holiday...one way or the other, their workers in China are mad for having to work or customers mad because of no movement of their orders...

I can't disagree with that. I read it somewhere that Apple moved up the launch date by a week to take advantage of the note 5 bbq's. So I'm guessing it was to take advantage while Samsung was still doing the recall.

If I remember right there was a leaked memo from AT&T saying no time off for the upcoming week so it was assumed that launch would have been on the 26th instead of the 19th. This would also explain why supply is so constrained with a weeks worth of production lost by moving up launch day and Apple saying that they won't release launch weekend numbers. They knew they had no where near enough product to meet past launch weekend numbers.

Suzhou, China 09/16/2016 11:55 P.M. Departure Scan
China 09/16/2016 6:25 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

i think our best bet is the fligt landing in 90 minutes - that left shanghai today.

Next Scheduled Event: Monday,09/19/2016 by 5:00 P.M.

Location Date Local Time Activity
Suzhou, China 09/17/2016 11:55 P.M. Departure Scan
China 09/17/2016 2:17 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

note im hoping mine is not waiting for the the next flight in shanghai. not sure why i have no scan in shanghai which is right next door

it doesnt appear they are taking much time off.

That might make sense. That would allow it to make the 6:54 a.m. flight. to Anchorage

This is the same exact flight my watch is on. Apple sent my tracking number for that order. Hopefully my phone is on there too? FYI expected delivery of watch is 9/20

i get confused reading ups sometimes....it says arrival shanghai at 12:10 am...but no departure?

Sometimes the update of movement takes place at a delay, such as when the arrival scan occurs.

What is the weight of your watch and how many reference numbers show for your watch? I'm worried my tracking isn't for my phone.
