Roll call - Oct. 4th - Oct. 10th original ship date

I would not have gotten my phone today had it not been for the awesome people within this forum...! Everyone is supportive and nice... & willing to help if they can!!

I got my phone booked around 4:10 am, with an original ship date of 30th October to 11th November. That was bumped to 30th September - 13th October date last week. Went into PFS just over 60 hours ago, just got shipping info. My dates are a little different as I live in China, but I guess that means I'm the start of the Oct group getting their phones. If you add in the shipping times to the US, I guess all you PFS people will be getting their phones this week for sure

What I'd like to know is how are people able to pick up my exact model in stores and mine (which was preordered just an hour after I was able to) hasn't even shipped yet...

I'm not mad about it, but if something is in the sense "sold out", how are people able to just go into stores and get them? I understand if it were day one, but stocks shouldn't be rolling into stores if preorders are still taking x amount of time. It doesn't' make sense to me.

If this was said before launch day I'd believe it. But to me that statement makes absolutely no sense. No way have phones been sitting state side without being assigned to orders at this point. Imho

I think better question is how did he get bumped from oct-nov to sep-oct and get his shipped first before us???

Apologies, didn't mean to crush hopes. I've been following this thread as it's the closest to my dates and figured with the PFS times matching everyone else here, that I was the start of this week's shipment being distributed worldwide.

No worries here. You very well may be correct. Have you begun tracking your official tracking number? What does it say? That could help all of us a lot

Looked into to that today but there was no stock of the model I was wanting. Heck the AT&T stores here in Oklahoma City from the sounds of it didn't even receive stock of any plus models.
 
I ordered two 7+ 256 GB, one in black and one in rose gold. The rose gold was at 3.30 am, still processing, the black after 4 am, now shipped. Got shipping number with the delivery service used here.

I genuinely think this is the next batch being issued worldwide, hence the overlap on dates and almost identical PFS timeframes.

He seemed like he was being truthful. The only reason it made sense to me was because of the huge amount of phones available in stores today. The plus and regular edition. This would mean the phones arrived over the weekend and will be sent out tomorrow via ups. Who knows though. Keeping my hopes alive until I see otherwise.

Just chatted online with Apple Support. My person told me our orders (or at least mine) will likely stay in PFS until 23rd. Seems like it really depends on who you talk to depends on what you are told. Of course, he also didn't know physical Apple stores have been getting 7+ iPhones. (I had to tell him). Lol. Try checking it at 12:01 or 8a your local time if you reserve using this link you'll be able to pay in full or use the upgrade program... they had tons of pluses that loaded this morning I was able to just cancel my preorder
