There's a few more close up clear pics of the rose gold in the above link.

Some of them came out salmon/peachy pink but there's a few that's got a more coppery tone to it.

The colour must be affected by lighting a lot.
Considering that I've never, in real life, seen a space gray phone look like the one in that shot, I would say lighting , and whatever other magic was happening while taking these photographs, does indeed okay a role.

I don't agree with that. Fact is that short-sighted bigots aren't the majority anymore  and you making assumptions about what everyone else wants/thinks/prefers is what's silly. Fact is that there are more guys than girls in these forums getting the rose gold. Fact is that this is a different world from the one you think it is and if you don't approve, tough on you.
It's bigotry to say that more women tend to choose pink than men? Regardless of what polls on this forum suggest, I'd be surprised to see more men "in the wild" using this device than women. That's not to say I have a problem with it, or even a problem with being wrong, but I still see a lot more women wearing shades of pink than I do men. Based in that observation, I don't see why a cell phone purchase would be vastly different, but again, I could be wrong.

You sound just like the type of dude that would purchase a pink iPhone. The only bigot here is the one getting his panties in a bunch because ur all on ur own as far as that "pink has no gender" argument goes. Nonsense. It's 2015 and no one is allowed to feel a certain way because it may be frowned upon by the weak p*ssies that are being raised in this generation.
Don't care what you think about it. Care about all the gatekeeping and trying to keep everybody else in the past.

By itself: Fairly pink

Relative to other pink things: Kinda pink

That's my scientific analysis and description.

Clearly you really care about what people think. Enough to let something as silly as a color choice bother you. You use that excuse about people being in the past because you have insecurities. That's your problem, no one elses. If I was in the past id be a gay bashing racist wife beater. None of which I am. I just happen to think pink is girly. Always will. Kind of in the same respect as feathered pens and polka dots are girly.

Only insofar as they express that in their treatment of other people. I don't care if people don't like pink for themselves (hey, I'm one of them), for whatever reason, whether they think it is girly or whatever, but stepping over the line in insisting that everybody else has to think it is girly, or in putting up roadblocks to try to dissuade other men from choosing it in order to validate your own world view, then I'm going to speak up.

The world is changing around you. I am an old fart who was raised in an era where yes, pink=girly, and that works its way into our subconscious. The difference is that I recognize that, and don't try to treat it like it's something set in stone that society will never change. My children (one adult, and one who thinks he is) don't see it that way, something that is very common in their generation, and you can expect more and more people to disagree with you as time goes on. You may eventually find that commenting on something pink as "girly" gets you looks much as if you had said something a black person was doing was "ghetto".
