no imagination at all. the sylus is even similiar to the slide in which steve jobs said "who wants a stylus?" oh, the irony.

I hope we don't have to see these horrible renderings used over and over again once a week on MR until the final product is eventually released. But I have a feeling we will.

Hope they add "Find My Stylus" to iCloud.

lol, yeah, this was Steve's biggest gripe.

If Apple could have it, that the stylus is stored in the ipad, that would be a plus. I hate how there's no place to really store my stylus for my SP3.

I think that has more to do with the way the stylus was used in 2007. It was used for touch inputs, not as a hand writing/drawing tool. I agree that in 2007 a stylus was awful, but in 2015 it is a very handy note taking tool. The stylus of old was horrific with handwriting

THese rumors are getting interesting, I just hope that proper stylus support isn't restricted to just the "Pro."

If I'm going to carry around a 13" tablet, I'll just take a MBA.

You wouldn't have the buttons going inward, nor would you have them marked plus and minus because there are a NUMBER of things they can be used for. Sometimes you want them to be redo and undo, sometimes you want them to be switches for different tools.

Would you want a 13" iPad, or woudl you want the stylus support integrated into the 9.7" and 7.9" iPads?

Martin, kind of rediculous to go through the work of mocking up a huge iPad Pro and keeping the same number of home icons as the iPad Mini. Come on...

I have no idea why it kils me so much but it’s ‘ridiculous’?
But yes, I thought that the home screen icon thing looked odd too. They need to give the bloody thing a proper OS.

Like it or not, it's still the arena Apple has not gotten into, that they could make a huge impact with. The iOS adapted for a large tabletop size computer would be a much better implementation than those MS Surface™ pads running some variant of Windows. iOS just fits that machine like a glove for intuitive computing Applications. It would be really super if Apple would realize that this (tabletop computer) is a viable market and a wave of the future in large surface touch computing. Apple has done nothing on this, and released no such product. It's like they are still on their "tiny. slim. thin, portable" wagon and missing the grand picture...:apple:

regurgitating steve jobs' opinion on styluses is the ultimate waste of breath. mores than all of his other opinions from 10-4 years ago combined. it was a tick on the list of marketing checkboxes for the original iPad/iphone, which gloriously celebrated touchscreens when they weren't ubiquitous as they are today.

he was poking fun at the competition, not limiting apple's options for the future.

Why do renderings always have a disgusting amount of fingerprints, smears, grease and other gross things on it? We get, its a render and you want to make it look more "real", but I have never seen an ipad with that much gunk on the screen.

As a painter who uses iPad for digital painting, I have to say that I'm so excited about the bigger iPad, and most of all, the stylus. (it better have pressure sensitivity though, or else, it's useless.)

But I'm concerned about something that's not related to what I just said, I really think Apple should make more use of the lock screen and home screen, the current iOS on a 12" display will look incredible ridiculous...

Also, I think some apps shouldn't take advantage of the full 12" screen, they should be windowed rather than full-screen (like contacts app, clock, reminders etc, as well as third party apps like Clear for example...)

Let's hope for the best. :apple:

why are the bezels getting larger?

because lots of renderers have no design sense. they take some deviantart user's vector template for an existing (old) iPad, add some harebrained features they dreamt up while high, and send it to their good buddy at [x] apple rumor site and get sweet, sweet free publicity.
