Just found some leaked images of the iPhone 17:

Wish they would update the layout of the camera array.

How, and why? I like the arrangement, and it is the most distinctive. When you see someone using a phone and just see the cameras, you know it is an iPhone — this is not true with other phones.

If Apple is going to make the camera bump larger make the phone more grippier. The larger flashlight looks good. How about 2 large lights placed beside the cameras...and let the user take pictures illuminated by the 2 large lights.

I personally am hoping my next iPhone will be a 'rugged' iPhone Ultra to match my Ultra Watch.

I’m hoping they change the camera layout with the intro of the periscope lens. And also black out the area around them and make the lenses all flush like this.

The rounded edges should help minimize scratches that seem to come from nowhere on the current sharper edges. It will also provide a bit more contact area to enjoy the feel of the titanium…

Hideous. This is what happens when armchair designers are let loose trying to imagine future iPhone models. Apple's design rep is already beginning to look bad enough, just through their own efforts – they certainly don't need this kind of image sabotage. Someone at Google should give these guys a job instead.

It's crazy! The camera bump is almost as thick as the phone itself. Total Sabotage! However, I like it. Reminds me of iPhone X.

Honestly blows my mind that Apple keep making the cameras thicker, but down expand the battery so the phone lays flat. So many people are chipping the edges of their lenses. We gonna have some THICK ass cases!

I know it will soon be as thin as a piece of paper with a 1 inch camers

If the camera is actually going to be THAT thick... I think I might just want the phone a tad thicker (and increase battery life) so that the phone isn't so top HEAVY or wobbling all over my desk when I tap it. Even a phone case won't make that bump flush....

Most cases for the 14Pro don't make the lens flush. I think the 11Pro or maybe the 12 was the last to see that? My 14Pro Apple leather case has a sizable rim to protect the lenses. On that note, I really miss the "thinness" of my 11Pro. I love a great camera that's handy, but it's getting to the point where I'm not sure it's worth the weight and bulk.

I sort of agree. The space around the three lenses is a dust & dirt magnet.
