I agree. I will hold off for the Spring refresh and hope that a BD drive arrives. If this had included even a BD-ROM I would be ordering the i7 option iMac immediately.

ZOMG CORE i7!!! Woot, this is exactly what I wanted, but didn't the last 24" have 4850's? Oh well, still freakin amazing.
 
I think the mac mini server should of got dual ethernet ports, and I hope it would be nice if it could support the dvd drive for the mac air.

I am surprised at the pricing they pulled off for the server version. $999 in the US. I just can't believe they didn't throw a second NIC in there. Since most would be running it headless, just axe one of the display connections.

I am a little bummed I just got a Mini recently, I really want that 2.66 model. I may have to give them a call and see what they can do...
 
The wireless keyboard got an update too.....

Uses 2 AA batteries instead of 3..... and new key with full names instead of symbols.

I hate the 3 battery thing!
 
I had plans to get the new 23 inch Samsung monitor. I waited until today for new mouse and keyboard.

What I got was now an iMac 4 inches bigger than the monitor I wanted. Choices, decisions...:eek:
 
what the hell? Dropping firewire again??? Did they not learn the first time?

My sister has one of those special edition macs and she need to borrow my HD. I had to dig and dig to find a usb came for her bc all I use is FIREWIRE APPLE!!! Come one. Give us a break!!
 
Here is an idea for Apple how about a charge station for the mouse and the keyboard? that would be cool.
 
so.. since this was updated mid-day, how soon will an Applestore have this stuff in to look at? I don't want to call since they're probably swamped now..
