I wanted to but… dat design though…

Can try next year again when it’s from 0 to 4 to 8
I also did 0-4 and am on the fence about 4-8.

But I went for a stainless 4 so I don’t really fancy shelling out for a 7 when there’s still a lot of life in my 4 despite the battery degradation (I don’t want to replace battery and lose water resistance).

I’m tempted by a Hermés this time. So I think I’ll wait until series 8. No new iPhone for me this either.

I'm a day one series 0 owner, updated to stainless series 4 also day one, I think I might go day one for stainless series 7. On Reddit someone sumarized pretty well the updates you get from series 4 which seems compelling enough to me.

This multi-generational upgrade means a bigger screen with thinner bezels, always-on display, 50% faster charging (0-80% in 45 min vs 90 min), on-screen keyboard, new watch faces, more storage, fresh battery, compass, international emergency calling without a cellular plan, more powerful processor, blood oxygen sensor, always-on altimeter, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, better battery life when working out and listening to audio, U1 chip, and digital car keys.

I'm going to wait at least another year if not 2. The S4 for fitness and sleep tracking and some notifications and carrot is trucking along well. I also bought the stainless so getting another year or two of useful life helps justify cost.

I might. Right now my rotation is S5 for everyday wear and my gold SS S4 for dress. I like the big face watches for my extra large wrists.

Yeah I will be - I was planning to upgrade anyway this time but broke my s4 so it’s barely usable now so that’s confirmed it. I will look forward to the bigger screen and always on watch face and no doubt a battery boost from my launch day s4, just hope not too long to wait! :)

Exactly in the same spot. I fully intended to upgrade this year, given the rumors of a completely new design. I might hold off until S8 hoping that there's a more substantial change.

Nope, I stopped wearing mine in July after four years of wearing Apple Watches, and went back to a standard watch.

I need to sell my S4 soon.

(the S7 is also highly uncompelling as an upgrade goes)

I’m still debating, but I’m leaning towards it. Though the changes are minimal, I still would be getting AOD, blood oxygen and a bigger screen.

I own an S4 AW and will definitely NOT be upgrading to the S7.

My Stainless Steel S4 is wonderful and no slouch at all. I used to have an S0 and also an S3 and although I liked them, my current S4 is wonderful. No issues at all and the truth is the S7 is really a very minor upgrade. If I had the S3 then yes definitely I’d upgrade but the S4 is pretty great.

i have a rose gold/gold aw4 and had the same color for aw3. i only upgraded my 3 because the haptics stopped working (probably a swollen battery but i just used it as a trade in).

I’m in love with the new starlight color and plan to upgrade both my watch and my 8+. i actually love the redesign and am glad they didn’t go to the square face.

i will probably keep the aw4 for yard work this time to keep the watch face in better condition.

Nope. I was if the design was changed but will keep my s4 since s7 is minor update. Will wait for s8.

Not upgrading. Was hoping to do so but the screen size is the only new standout feature, and that alone isn’t compelling enough. I’d rather wait another cycle. Did get some new bands, though!

No. I was hoping the rumors of a square design to match the 12 series was true. There’s no new sensors this year, so I’ll wait until next year to upgrade. The battery on my S4 last for about 18 hours which isn’t bad. I just have to charge in the evening and in the morning before work and I’m good to go.

No. I really wanted to upgrade because my battery’s horrible but it’s not compelling. I was hoping for better health features/ new sensors like blood sugar or a more reliable blood oxygen. Or at least a new chip with battery improvements like the 13.

I’ve decided to pay $99 for a new battery on my S4 SS with the current options.

I'm upgrading, this list is pretty much the reasons why. I was tempted by S6, but happy with the extra features of the S7.
