I had the S0 and am now on a cellular S4. I don't think I'll be ordering Series 7. I wear my Apple Watch every day and I love it, but this is not a device that warrants frequent upgrades for me. Like many people have already commented, my battery is right at 80% right now and still gets me through the day just fine. The moment it stops doing that regularly, I'll either get a new battery or a new watch.

I'm still trying to hold out for one of the big years where there's a fresh design and faster silicon. Apple always seems to be in either Strike or Waiting To Strike mode, and right now the Watch feels like it's firmly set to Waiting To Strike. And that's ok, because it puts less pressure on me to spend money for now.

Initially wasn't going to, but now leaning toward it. I was really tempted by the oxygen monitoring with the Series 6 but it sounded like glucose monitoring was getting close, and I'd really like that. I'd feel very silly to get a Series 7 only to have glucose monitoring come out on a Series 8, but I'm not convinced that it's so close to release. It just seems like one of those features that generate a lot of interest near release time, but we don't hear much about them otherwise. Additionally, lately it seems like competitors get new health sensors out to market before Apple does, and I haven't heard of anyone else with glucose monitoring out.

Also, things have changed for me and now the always-on display would come in use for me... and that's probably the biggest reason I'd consider upgrading. Whether it's to a discounted 6 or a new 7 is hard to say, though. But otherwise, I'd keep on with the 4 until next year, if not longer.
Yeah and remember Apple jumps in about 2 years late on new technology implementation.

I've gone back and forth but I think I'll pull the trigger this year. My S4 is still great though. It's first Apple Watch I've genuinely loved (I had 0 and 3 before), but I want faster charging, the always on display and titanium.

Same here! Went from Series 0 to Series 3 Lte to Series 4 Lte and maybe will upgrade to Series 7. Faster charging, bigger screen, blood oxygen sensor, faster processor , always on screen, bigger storage are all features i really want.

Definitely. Cannot wait for the bigger screen and the other improvements that seem a big step forward compared to S4.

The display and titanium is pretty big factors for me as well - Going to jump from SS S4 to the Space Black Ti S7

Had a S0 now S4 since it’s release; none of the updates since (always on display, blood oxygen reader) have made me want to upgrade and the newest feature (larger display) is not a selling point for me (since I use mostly black backgrounds and won’t be all that noticeable after I’ve gotten used to it). Spending all that good Apple $$$ on some straps this go around.

Why are you even commenting on this if you don’t wear your watch anymore?

Let me help you with something.

You are not master of the universe. I know, shocking.

The question was whether Series 4 owners were upgrading. I answered.

Can you really be considered a Series 4 owner if you don't even wear it anymore?
He said he was tired of his 4, and as such, he didn’t find the 7 compelling enough to change his mind. Good opinion and fair enough.

Nothing wrong with that. Leave him alone.
