Does anyone have the offical documents that are part of applecare, that say this, because i'd like to walk in the store with the papers that say i get a free refund!

At least in Europe, the official document that states that they have to refund the money after 3 attempts to repair your computer is called "code of law". I don't know how that works in the US, though.

Well here is what happened.. they are going to test it some at there store, but AFTER the 3rd time of the same problem(this was only my 2nd time with this problem), they will replace it with a current Mac that replaced it(i have a 17'' G5 with 1Gb of RAM i'd get a 17'' Intel with 1Gb of RAM)

Well see what happens

9V battery on the PCB of the logic board works well. Right place can take out the logic board, CPU, RAM, AGP and PCI devices all in one go.

Anyway, just let the machine die naturally.

Is there actual documentation of this? Because my MBP is fresh off of repair #2 and I imagine something else will go wrong with it in the next 3 years, hopefully post merom update (although I would never break anything on purpose, it is just that from my experiance something will break all on its own!), and being able to bust out "well section C234-4546DF-$%-SDF!@#$-234 of the apple repair code of honor says that I get a refund" would be a nice tool to have on my side...

This is a result of a lawsuit against Apple in the UK regarding the responsibilities of a manufacturer; as far as I know, it is neither advertised (but IS policy) nor is it in effect anywhere but Europe (I thought UK, but I guess it's all of the EU?).
