I haven't upgraded to leopard yet, hopefully tomorrow when my university gets coppies, but i have always used safari. On a PC before switching to a mac a year and a half ago, i always used firefox. But i have always liked safari on a mac ever since switching. For some reason firefox runs very sluggish on my macbook.

Been using Safari exclusively since the 3 beta. I HATE FF on OS X and don't really care for Camino. I DO prefer FF over IE at work, but that's on a Windows box.

Very pleased with the newest version of Safari

"Are you going back to Safari?"

Heh... I never left Apple's awesome web browser. And with Safari 3 Final, it just got even SNAPPIER!

Sweet. :)

The only thing that sucks about Safari is we're still unable to use the WYSIWYG editor here at Macrumors. :(

I, like others, have been using Safari now due to it's nativity to the OS. I've tried Camino and it's good but for some reason, Safari feels more like "home". Hard to explain on my part but it's gotten even better!

I don't hate firefox, but more have a disliking for it. Too Windows-like even with the plugins... Useful but can get clunky pretty quickly. There are features that I miss from Safari. At one point in Panther, I had OmniWeb as Safari wasn't that great back then.

So it seems like the people who use Firefox are considering switching to Safari 3. Interesting.

I've been using Firefox sore a few years now. Safari is good, but my online college course page has problems with it. Maybe after they get their site worked out I'll switch full time

I've used Safari since I switched to Mac OS X. The only other browsers I would use would be Firefox/Netscape or Camino. Firefox and Netscape are just fugly on OS X and Camino isn't much different than Safari (in customization).

I have been a FF user for 3 years now, but after FF2 came out I started losing interest in it because of how buggy and unstable it was.

Now it seems better but since I now have a mac I decided to give Safari a Fair chance. I still Use FF at work and where I do not have a mac available.

I'm still using Firefox. It seems to load faster in Leopard, although it might just be in my head. I need the extensions too much to let go, especially the web developer tools!

Also, the Intel builds on Beatnikpad are noticeably faster than the vanilla installs you get from Mozilla's official websites.

I switched for good with the 3 beta. I used to use FF on Windows, and used primarily Camino when I first switched, but now Safari does almost everything I need.

I still have Firefox on my machine, but I only ever use it for the Stumbleupon plugin.

Camino is on my HD as a "just-in-case" browser...I'm a FF man when I use Windows though, Safari is not up to scratch on that platform...

I hate FF and have in the past few years switched between Safari and Camino often. I've probably used them both the same amount, but switched to Safari since the beta came out and haven't looked back.

Does Safari support proper ad blocking now? I remember that there was some sort of plug-in for the older version, but apparantly it had a significant performance hit.

I miss acidsearch and saft from safari2, and I can acheive their functionality with FF, but I sitll use safari 3, it's so fast, and I'm sure it wont be long before they're updaed to safari3.
I still keep ff for some plugins though, as and when I need them

I think Safari is a great web browser, but I just wish Apple would build-in a (more) robust extension/plug-in architecture. If Apple ever wants to make Safari a platform that users even think about using on the Windows side, they have to do this.

But it's my browser of choice. Had lots of problems with it crashing in Tiger, but it's been like a rock on Leopard. Really liking it.

Saft now works apparently. Don't use it myself so haven't tried it.

Been using Netscape Navigator 9 lately, but that became to unstable after upgrading to Leopard, so I went back to Firefox 2 (though I might go for the FF3 beta whenever that is ready).

I use NS9 at work (Windows) and Safari 3 at home. I've used Safari as my primary browser since the public beta.
