It isn't safe yet. You need to keep waiting. We'll let you know when it's safe.
No one tell him when it's safe.

Basically the title. I don't want to go through the exchange lottery. After getting a defective 6s+, I returned it and set my eyes on the 6s instead, but I'm worried I'll have to shuffle through screens with dead pixels or terrible tint imbalances. Do you think Apple has worked out the kinks?
My launch day 6s is perfect, and actually the only iPhone I've had in seven years that is, right out of the box. But that run included a 3GS and a 5 both bought late in their respective runs and still needing replacement, so no point in waiting for perfection either way..i must just be lucky. all of my launch day iphones have been issue free

Interesting, I'd have to take a look tonight when the edges are properly dark and the screen is a solid white. I can't see it on any app or page that i am using right now. Which is how you use the phone anyway most of the time (keyboard, apps, colors, etc). At first sight, nope, mine's fine. Here's a 30 page thread to answer your question: Will the 'pressure point' blemish on the 6S Plus be addressed in a hardware revision?
There usually aren't any problems in the first place, and waiting to buy the device isn't going to fix anythingBasically the title. I don't want to go through the exchange lottery. There aren't any problems, there rarely are. And if there was a problem it would not take a year for Apple to fix it. If you wait a year all you're doing is wrecking your chances of being able to upgrade when the newest device comes out.You should wait at least a year to make sure all is good.

I know the OP said its not OCD but I just find it unlikely that you went through 4 device and every one had some sort of defect. If i went through 4 devices I would skip the 6s all together. There's always going to be issues if you're looking for it.
You can find it unlikely, but that doesn't mean it's not true.
My devices and their defects:
4th gen iPod touch: light leak first time, dead pixels second time.
iPhone 4s: Dead pixels first time, black circle in camera second time, broken Wi-Fi third time.
iPhone 5s: Dead pixels first time, dust under the screen second time.
iPhone 6s+: Uneven display tint and pinching issue first time. God knows what's coming the second time.
I am shocked you even buy Apple products. As far as the 6S+, nothing has changed. You will still have a great chance of more bad luck after looking at your above list.

Reported everyone who decided to try be a smartass with me.
Of the multiple iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus models I bought for family the 6 series are much better handsets. The hardware is what I'm commenting on.
The list of 6S faults is longer and involves more risk since replacements I've received are just as bad. One exception, but overall I'd seriously suggest waiting.
Also early unconfirmed rumors, but from excellent sources intimate the iPhone 7 to be a wonderful truly significant improvement. It's going to be the phone to have. That's my take on it.
If wrong, it'll still be much better than iPhone 6S series.
I'm simply sharing my honest thoughts and experiences.Very unfortunate. iPhone 5s was just as bad too.
Can't tell if you're trolling on those last two lines though...
Read that will be a long time, Apple is still supplied by them until the iPhone 7How long should I wait until I know for sure I will get a 6s with the TSMC chip?
