The App is so much better, the app is now letting me put my order in, and it still says delivery on 9/25. But this year they did in store pick up option so i reserved my 6s+ Silver 64gb for 8am.......I am so dam happy i dont have to wait at home now all day for delivery guy...lol.....IM glad everybody's went smooth through the APP. THe app is the way to go, specially on NON S version iPhones......Now we can all go to sleep and dream about the 25thhahahahha

Way better than last year. I used app, but website working fine for me after, ordered a case and the dock.
 
I ordered 6s 128 gb AT&T using the Apple Store app. I paid in full.

I did get nervous when I had to run across the house to find my credit card to get the security code. I was afraid I was going to get kicked off. The order went through. I got a order number.

I am still waiting for the confirmation email 45 minutes later.

Apple's Store still will not load for me on my Mac.
 
Much easier to order from the iOS Apple Store app this year. Just checked and many models and colors are still
available for delivery or pick up on the 25th.
 
Yes, a lot of us got in early AND GOT our phones as expected. Sorry for your luck. I heard of some botched orders also.
That's great. I'm glad they weren't all botched. I was in a thread with a bunch of fellow botchees. It was actually kind of fun. We all would cheer and carry on as some members finally got out of Processing Limbo.

My husband managed to get his 128 GB Space Grey 6SPlus ordered placed through the Apple Store App. We are AT&T Business Premier Next customers and there was some doubt we would be able to order through Apple. We decided to give it a shot and after being denied a couple of times in what was clearly a glitch we went through fine. Mine is a Rose Gold 128 6S Plus.

My husband said he tried At&T's app and it was a cluster cluck again. I'm hoping that was not the case for any fellow forum members. But it might be expected given that AT&T wasn't permitting upgrades with contract discounts through any seller but their site. He also said this site was down when he came to check it out. He's a forum member too but I don't know his forum name. He told me but I forgot. He posted only once or twice. He reads my posts and trolls me in person. :rolleyes:

I am pre-ordering the T-Mobile off contract iPhone 6s Plus 128GB; I am hoping all goes well. It is my FIRST time ordering EVER on an iPhone release. Dunno what to expect.

I'm glad your order went through and you get the pick up option. It was nice of you to start this thread and try and help people avoid what we AT&T folks went through last year. I hope all continues to go well with your order and you enjoy your new iPhone.

Didn't we talk on the same threads last year cause we got screwed? I think I remember the grumpy mom name.... Anyways I wanted to get word out cause I didn't want anybody to go through what we did last year. I am picking mine up in store from here on out. Since my store is 5 min away. Hope you and your husband get on launch
 
Tried & tried & tried to order through the Apple website, which was pretty much non-functional (total, TOTAL fail Apple...). Couldn't use the Apple Store app because my iPhone is on iOS 7.1.2 and the app requires iOS8. Ended up ordering through Verizon's website without problems.

The fact that in the hours leading up to the pre-order the entire apple.com website was showing "ACCESS DENIED" squarely places this pre-order event into "disaster" territory.
 
Well I am reading on the ATT thread. People are starting to get OCT ship dates and back order instead of processing.... Aren't we the lucky ones!!! Grumpy mom!!!

Oh that sucks, did you do Apple.com on our phone or computer?

Yeah my husband told me that. It's horrible. Like last year all over again. Yes I think we did talk on the old thread. I joined on September 11 of last year. Oh wow, I guess it was my one year anniversary on the forum yesterday. I didn't think of it because of course my mind was on a different anniversary for our country.

It's so weird, it's now my mom's birthday. The actual launch date is my dad's birthday. Funny how that worked out.
 
I got nothing but errors from the Apple Store app on the iPhone. Switched to the Apple Store app on the iPad and got all 3 orders in (128gb RG 6s+, 128gb SG 6s+, 64gb SG 6+) without a hitch. I got through about 12:15PDT. Delivery is 09/25. Got all 3 confirmation emails, too.

Does anyone know what it means to use the Reserve to buy in store option on Apple.com? AT&T screwed up something on my account (IMEI#) and I ended up getting an in store reservation for a 6S+ in Rose Gold on 9/25 @ 8:30a central.
