Samsung Pay - give you that one

3 colors, gold, silver, black - and green OOps you forgot that one

Non removable battery - Nexus 6, Motorola G / E, Huawei ascend mate 7 and a billion other phones

No micro SD slot - nexus 6/5/4 and a million other phones, 32gb base line anyone?

Similar hardware design - really apple does a curved display - nope

Similar storage options - really i must say thats rather desperate, you mean baseline of 32gb vs apple 16gb? oh and yeah its ssd speed ram not standard flash memory?

Wow. Just wow. So they have a go at Apple for not having expandable storage, a removable battery and then THEY do it. Oh. My. God. And, the side looks like the volume buttons on the 6 and the bottom is very similar!!!!!

Non removable battery, no MicroSD-slot, metal sides with antenna breaks and glass back, rounded sides with familiar bottom layout.. The all new Samsung 6 and 6 Plus, err, Edge.

The non removable battery and no micro sd made me laugh, those where the two things that Samsung users used to brag about.

They've added wireless charging to make up for the lack of removable battery.

iPhone sure doesn't have that.

And, oh no, they moved the headphone jack to the bottom of the phone. How dare they?

Please...

Welcome to the Samsung iPhone S6.

Manufactured in Korea, designed by Apple in California.

It is a 6S, not S6 with a glitchy pseudo-Touch-Id! :p

Very similar but works in less stores.

Not even close. Check out the video

1. Not as secure. It uses same old magnetic stripe signal from LoopPay.

2. You have to:
a. Power the phone
b. Swipe up to launch the App.
c. Authenticate with finger print at bottom of screen?
d. Place phone near magnetic reader and hope it works like LoopPay.

3. Does not yet use emv

Come on, Apple faithful. Look on the bright side.

Apple has plenty of time to add wireless charging to the iPhone, add a curved screen, and move up to a 32GB base model so they can be just like Samsung. :apple:

I thought they had a go at Apple for supposedly bad battery life?

Ah yes I forgot about the less efficient copy of Touch ID. Also the headphone jack moving to the bottom.

Also removing the micro SD and removable battery that so many Samsung fans bragged about. It seems Apple had it right all along on that front.

Samsung just being Samsung.

Where did I see that edge before... Oh wait...

The camera on the S6 if it is as advertised might blow the 6 Plus out of the water.

On that basis and the below (seeing as you skipped a generation of galaxy s) it gained back 1.2gb so lets say they do the same with the 40% reduction in tw and streamlined lollipop if they get 1.2gb back again they are at 11.2gb, not far off the 13gb left on a iphone 6+ as per second link

Apple Pay (and Google Wallet) currently work in far less stores in the US than LoopPay (aka Samsung Pay).

Interestingly, Mastercard teamed up with Samsung Pay to enable tokenized transactions even from the magnetic side of things.

Sorry, this is false. Apple Pay works anywhere there's NFC, regardless of if the Apple Pay logo is stamped on the terminal or not.

Yeh, Samsung is copying non stop. However I liked some features on Galaxy. Wireless charging, notification LED, 2-3GB RAM, fast charging, battery safe mode.

Samsung. Rustling Apple fanboys jimmies since 2010 :)
Samsung is just doing what they need to and using a design that is popular (Alluminum and glass). They don't own the rights to be the only company to incorporate these materials into a phone design. Apple used the same strategy by making bigger phones. They technically got the idea of a phablet from Samsung, because Samsung was the first company to introduce anything like that. But no one called that copying. As for Samsung Pay, they had every right to use that name. Fanboys will always defend a company with opinions. Never with facts

But...but...but all I have been told by everyone is that expandable storage and removable battery is a MUST. Apple is laughable for not having that.

Samsung Pay, really?
Do they even try?

I almost want to sell my Note 4 just to get as far away from Samsung now. They can't even try to back this one up after making all those commercials making fun of Apple and their fans, and then making this and it goes against A LOT of those commercials.

When Apple copies Samsung, it's called innovation.

When Samsung copies Apple, it's called photocopying.

It can also use NFC. Magnetic stripes are not safe, that's true but it is the best in terms of compability. Most first world nations do not use the magnetic stripes.
