Dude, don't come at me with that nonsense! If Samsung is just plain better, then why do they even need a "POWER SAVE MODE"! Power save mode is a cop out and you know it! Have fun with your Dumb phone, it can't do anything! LOL!![]()
Android 'L'. 36% battery improvement.
Apple does not have a similar power saving feature on the iPhone, nor does it have a removable battery like the Galaxy S5,

Probably should do some research on your own before making silly comments

the S5 outperforms the 5S in battery life in virtually every test, without using the ultra low power mode to extend use of the device by days.
The Ultra lower power super mode isn't meant to make your phone have a 20 day or whatever battery life. it's meant so that if you cannot get to a charger and you've got 10% battery, and you need a device for emergency or basic communications to keep you going.
Apple has decent battery life. But without any of these "power saving modes", once you're out of battery, you're effectively out of communication quick.
Wow. 36% over crappy. That's pretty good. And I didn't know that Samsung was shipping their phones with developer builds now...
I'm a PC ads made fun of PCs, not PC users.
Yeah, right! Did you send me this message using 3G? I totally believe you! Like I said, why even have a power save mode if you phone is all that! With Power Save mode the guilt written all over your face!
That was a different era of computing

My co-worker (Indian) used to swap batteries and charge his S4 like every hour! I usually can get by with one charge for the day on my iPhone 4s, which took a major battery decrease with iOS7 too. All depends on how much you're using it. If you're constantly charging your phone all day, then I best suggest you find a real job to fix the problem
Samsung is so pathetic... it boils me to ****ing watch that. guess what Samsung, that bandaid looking piece of shyt looks hideous and the back cover splits apart from the base when dropped, AND couldn't even hold charge. haha PATHETIC.
get back to me when your device actually matters. APPLE Doesn't care.. Apple will walk around your piece of crap device.
It's not nonsense. It's scientific tests from Anandtech.

And Power Saving mode exists as a useful feature. If I'm going camping or I forget to charge the phone for a couple days and it's dying.
This was the way Apple advertised their products for 90% of their existence, by insulting their competition and, in turn, the masses that used them.
Remember "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC".
Further back, Apple used to have Jeff Goldblum bash the "big beige box" to mock the Wintel platform.
And remember Ellen Feiss?
Apple has traditionally invested more effort in calling out their competition rather than just making feel good ads about all the features their devices have. Those ads full of inspired music showing people doing things with an iPad or iPhone are actually quite RARE for Apple.
It is an important rule to never mention your competition in advertising, that is like Mad Men Rule #1! Doing so only solidifies the people using your competition against you. Rarely will someone ever switch to another product when someone tells you the product you're using sucks.
This is why Apple historically failed to capture any of the PC market with ads like "I'm a Mac and I'm a PC" because most PC users thought Mac users were simply douchebags like Justin Long or drugged out teenaged girls.
It is more historically accurate to claim Samsung is copying Apple's traditional advertising style then to say that Apple has risen above all this.
Ah Ah, I remember changing a battery once in my life on a Nokia 3310 back in 1998. But Samsung forgot to mention one important piece of information...people with iphones use their phone more than people with androids. So yes, we need to charge them more often.
"Is this the new Samsung?" Come on, this is so dumb. No one would say something like that, because Samsung releases 30 Galaxy models per year and nobody cares if there is Galaxy Nr. 27 with 512mb more RAM.
