Stupid

If you really have a need for some of these activities, it makes sense to have an macbook air as it was designed with a more portable business focus. More and more, I see people wanting to use tablets as their main computing device, when touch screens simply don't speak to many types of activities (such as word processing). If you want to attach a keyboard case to your tablet, why not just get an ultra book? The keyboard is bigger and the touchpad experience is much more intuitive than using a mouse or touching a screen. While multitasking is a nice feature, I don't think there are many people reading books in a circle of women that randomly want to look at a youtube video. It's really not hard to double tab the home button of an iPad and switch to another app.

I like the fact that SAMSUNG are the first to tell Microsoft that Surface is just a laptop:D

Yep, and pointed out how stupid they sound. So even though Android tablets can use keyboards/mice, now consumers will think "hmm I can't use a keyboard/mouse with this Samsung tablet?" I think it's better to leave out the surface comparisons because it trounces the samsung tablet on so many levels it's just embarrassing.

Did anyone notice that the guy next to Surface character was texting "Jeff's making a scene" during the whole "move the laptop" charade. They really like to shove their argument down the viewer's throat.

Hey, did Apple ever bash Samsung in ads? NO. You guys are getting annoying.

I wouldn't mind if Apple, Microsoft, AND Amazon all got up and released anti-Samsung attack ads. All released in the same week. Just because karma calls for it. :D

It would make the tech industry very exciting and adrenalin-filled and bile-filled for the next few months.

Uh, Apple bashed PCs for years with its Justin Long commercials.

My oh my, how quickly the fan boys forget...

Isn't that that truth lol. I dislike Android but like Samaung TVs and own 3. I'm not brand loyal, I'm loyal to what suits my needs best, regardless of the brand or product.

Not interested in Android at all but I would love for iOS to gain real multitasking. It's very annoying to have "quit" the mail app to refer to a document then go back to the mail app. Even more annoying is apps that automatically log you out when you go to another app for a second.

I think you have a point. Showing unique features of your product over another application is fair play -- as in two side by side apps. The smirk at the end relative to retina display however seems unnecessary especially since I seriously doubt that is a reason anyone will choose one table versus another.

If you truly doubt this you have likely never worked retail. That's all I will say about that.

from all the "anti" apple (although kindle and surface were in there as well) this is the best imo. song seemed a little cye like.

light hearted enough and not condescending. mac v pc like in attitude.

sorry what?

i loved those ads but you are just creating some arbitrary lines here that mean nothing. it was what almost 70 commercials ramming home the same point.

has it come to this that apple "followers" pointing to marketshare? where were you guys in the last two decades?

Oh another Apple hater on MR bashing Apple and it's users. Why oh why doesn't MR make people fill out an application to see if they qualify to post here?

I don't see anything wrong with the ad's; if Samsung has better features, they should be tooting their own horn.

Honest competition leads to better devices for everyone.

im writing this on my imac (own another 2 and a mac mini). i have a macbook on my desk and 4 iphones infront of me. i have been around and using apple devices since the late 80s.

yes. however there should be an application and people with adult minds that can form their opinions and converse should be allowed.

hater and bash. are you alright on the top level or do you not know what these words mean?

the words in the quotations marks are there because some people on overreact like little children. and i said it was the best of ads grouped together. i criticized ads from samsung, microsoft and apple recently on this forum.

Give and take. Some people want the ability to use a keyboard for the one or two times a month they might draft a letter (or insert something else requiring a keyboard and/or mouse here). For people like this, touch screen input 95% + of the time is better than said ultra book. I realize they do make these ultra books with fully touch enabled screens too, but there are size, weight, battery life, and other concerns there too.

lol at "it's got a retina thingy." I get that Apple wants use their own terms avoid saying that the iPhone isn't HD, but it's much easier just to follow industry standards on this. Apple still hasn't fully detailed what falls under the retina category. At least with the industry standards, you know a 720p or 1080p display is a 720p or 1080p display regardless of the screen size. Going by pixel density is a bit pointless.

Thankfully Apple didn't call their HD video recording as Retina video recordings.

It's these kinds of ads that bring out the brand bigotry and snobbery that plague forums and comments. I'm sure for some people the Samsung tablets are the best thing since sliced bread. Same for iPad, Surface, and Kindle users.

Just because something works for you doesn't mean it will work for everyone or that is is somehow superior. The fact that we have iPads and Surfaces and Kindles and these Samsungs is what makes them all better. Competition and such.

SDOme of us... actually do use Apple products regularly.

I have a macbook air. I use OSX on my hackintosh nearly exclusively. I would seriously consider buying more Mac products if they actually made more that fit my needs.
I have purchased multiple iPads over the years as gifts for family and friends, and would whole heartedly recommend them.

But I don't for a second believe that Apple is some innocent godsent company that can do no wrong.

I have every right to be on this site to discuss my opinions of the matter, as does everyone else. From a corporate and business side, Apple is not some angel and have very many business practices that are questionable in ethics, and legality.

It is being completely blind to them which makes us mock those who believe in the reality distortion field that Apple portrays, that makes us call out the "fanboys"

I find!

I find all of this amusing and totally entertaining because all tech / gadget related ads make me giddy and makes me drool, because I truly love tech / gadget news and innovations. Comical competition is better than selling purely "feelings" and "hipster" appeal - which Apple is the perfect culprit

I love their bezel it suits my desire to use tablets in the landscape mode! The iPad bezel is so fat top and bottom, that home button is so darn big, I can do with out that button and just have a bigger screen real-estate. I just don't like all the other tablets with their space hogging navigation button icons *hurl chunks*.

I love my 128GB iPad Air with my ZAGGKeys Cover yeah!!!! I wish the thick fat bezels of the iPad housed some phat speakers with subs yeah!!!!

Love you all thank you!

I said once before I'll never own a Samsung product even if they are the best (which they are not) because I don't want to support a thieving company whose only way of marketing is bashing things with semi false and misleading claims.

This just sets the concrete of my decision harder. I dunno what they are thinking by being so negative toward the opposition they are not going to steal the opposition away. They are only really making an ad for people who already own the tablet because everyone else will just think yeh whatever, stop hating on my ****.

I can only imagine the nuclear explosion if Apple targeted Samsung in an attack ad. Samsung would look like a crumbling plastic mess of scattered internals running on a fragmented time bomb software which has zero appeal to anyone wanting something that looks presentable or worth using to even connect to Facebook.

Samsung ads used to be funny, like the original gs3 ones with the line outside of the Apple stores. Now instead of making their customers looks cool and hip, they're making them come off as smug *******s

Gee reminds me of another company...

Gonna get one for heck of!

I'm gonna run out now and grab the highest spec Samsung advertised above and test drive it yeah!
