I also have to mention that Android is probably the most insecure OS out there. It's literally the mobile equivalent of Windows 95.

Good luck if you do jump ship. Check back in and let us know about the lag out the box due to the Samsung skin and bloat.

Any proof of how just how insecure it is ? i love good scaremongering myself.

My worst devices due to lag etc are my iPad 3 and iPhone 4, biggest mistakes updating them to the most current iOS, they worked great beforehand

Actually I lie, my worst lemon was the 6 plus, worst iPhone ever in my experience , with constant crashes and stutter due to memory issues, the 6S plus is a dream compared to it.

Sure. I'll google that for you....

You don't need any examples of finger print hacking. I caught my bf cheating on me by simply just putting his finger on touch ID while he was sleeping.

1. I thank apple for coming up with fingerprint scanner that allows me to hack into my ex's phone without having to go through complicated process (just rest his finger on his phone while he's asleep)

2. I failed to see how secure touch Id is when even I can hack into his phone within a few sec.
That's not hacking sorry. No different than knowing the password and claiming the phone is insecure.

Are the comments bashing Apple at every turn? Did anyone say Steve would never do that? Do people claim Apple no longer innovates?

Then yes, you're in the right place.

Is the bashing warranted? Perhaps, perhaps not. We'll see what hardware Apple has in the coming months.
However, the comments are more likely out of frustration than hatred.
It's seeing competitors introduce features such as AMOLED displays, large batteries, pens and near bezel-less phones. So maybe they don't all work as advertised, but it's what passes off as innovation today.

And the perception that is created is that Samsung is moving forward, while Apple is standing still.

2. I don't even have to LOOK and OBSERVE and REMEMBER his passcode to hack into his phone, all i gotta do is, his finger on his phone when he's asleep.

See the difference there? You can even get his passcode wrong but never register a wrong fingerprint unless he changes his fingers before he sleeps. Bare in mind, I'm not a professional hacker who do all sort of software things/path to get to his passcode, but as for fingerprint? Just grab his damn finger and all is done.

1) The page that you sent us to was written in 2015, its 2016 now. Hello you there?

2) Samsung knox by BB is much more secure than Android itself and even iOS. And guess what, this source is based on 2016 devices.

DISAPPOINTING!! Basically same as the last years model. I don't give a sh*t about the iris scanner. I guess I'll wait for the iPhone 7.

Which will probably be even more the same as last years which will be further technically behind the Note 7 so I'm not really understanding the logic not to buy a Note? I get waiting to see if iPhone 7 will flukely be a total overhaul but definitely wouldn't bet on it. Personally thinking of getting a Nexus 6p with the recent drop in price.

I thought this site was called MacRumors not SamsungRumors. At this point are new phones from Apple competitors really that newsworthy?

If Samsung didn't release a new product it would have deprived you of a thread to moan in. If this site reported only exclsive on Apple we wouldn't have much to whine about these days.

Meanwhile: the rest of the world enjoy phones that work reliably and smoothly,
While its normal for Apple Devotees to bash any Android phone, making assumptions only reveals your lack of knowledge. My Nexus 6P and Galaxy S7 Edge are each far more reliable, smoother and glitch free on a day to day basis than my iPhone 6S Plus.

Having enjoyed every iPhone since the original, it's very disappointing to watch Apple fall behind. A loyal user I won't cast my iPhone aside, but it'd sure be nice if Apple would return to doing their best work. Coasting along like the Cupertino Company has done for the last three years has allowed the competition to build the best products.

Apple's saving grace is the ability to hoodwink those who have never tried anything else, a strong marketing program has made billions for Apple. With a massive budget and clever marketing, product quality and performance is secondary. It's good to be Apple.

Funny! You act like the millions of fragmented android phones all were updated to the latest OS in the past year. You are reaching!

What do you want? An article from yesterday? People are tired of writing the same thing daily I'm sure. Android is unsecured.

Knox is for enterprise. No consumer use yet. Samsung vaporware.

Yes and Apple is letting them. It should have invested it's billions years ago in out innovating their competitors.
Kudos!

You've expressed it perfectly.

As a serious, long time customer, its Apple that is allowing competitors to lead the way. And that's precisely what I find so disgusting.

Once a clear leader with world class products and service, they've become FAT & HAPPY.

They've identified just how little they need to do, to pacify their loyal customers. Rather than staying hungry, focused and committed to providing the best, they have let their greed place profit taking above all else.

How much will you be throwing away in app store purchases when you switch?
This is a very weak excuse to stay with Apple. I get my money's worth out of my smartphone hardware and software daily.

Using both Android and iOS concurrently year after year, the differences are well worth it. The ability to speak from real world experience with each current flagship is why I'm more than happy to invest the time and money to maintain multiple active lines and smartphones from the top makers.

I honestly think most folks are spoiled or clueless. Probably both. Do you know how hard it is for a company to come out with a industry changing product in a lifetime? Name any big company besides Apple that has done so in the past 50 years? Go ahead, I'll wait. Now think of the unreasonable expectations for Apple to do it yearly.

Look at Pokemon Go. Game changer. Guess what happens next? The copy machines then the crowd chanting "we want more innovation,"

Sorry that's not hacking, that's theft. No different if he was drunk and used his finger. Making a long drawn out post doesn't bolster your case; only proves you were devious. Hacking would be making a 3D replica of the fingerprint and using that.

1. so does that mean I can use an article that was written 10 years ago? Since " no one is writing the same thing everyday?"

2. If there's a new article, it's most probably NEW with NEW info. Or else, no point for someone to write a new piece of info to keep you UPDATED.

3. Knox is installed and came with all Samsung devices. Have you not used samsung recent phones? (Just hating?) Knox even came in the form of an app you can install it or not that's up to you.

4. Good point on the Android security vulnerably', didn't I say Samsung Knox is even more secure THAN Android itself? So I was just making a statement that samsung devices with Knox is more secure, not all of Android devices.

5. Also, the link you sent me to is for other android devices not samsung Knox protected devices.

The fact is that samsung devices are more secured now even compared to iOS devices, stuck at 2015 info if you choose to do so and live in denial.

You should really attend some English classes mate.

And I believe Cambridge dictionary is definitely much more credible than your definitely of "hacking" lmao.

"That's not hacking, that's theft" -sounds just like a 5 year old denying what the dictionary says. :D

I think people focus to much on the feature list and forget the total experience.
I agree.

Sadly Apple has let that go also.

My Nexus 6P is faster, smoother, and offers a better experience than my iPhone 6S Plus.

Once upon a time, no one could provide the exceptional world class experience that Apple did. I know, I enjoyed it.

But that was then and this is now... My Nexus 6P, Galaxy S7 Edge, LG V10 and Droid Maxx 2 all provide an exceptional experience.

Apple... Not so much.

Btw, ad-hominem attacks don't bolster your case either and get attention from the mods. You can believe what you did was hacking, so be it. You hacked a phone with the person's own fingerprint. Right. Remember denial is not just a river.o_O

I believe online hackers (eg Twitter hacked accounts) are using the info s that came from its users at the first place to heck their accounts. Lmao

I tried the VR gear and found it extremely disappointing. The optics are absolutely poor and produce both chromatic and spherical aberration. They also magnify the screen making the pixels large enough to be quite noticeable. The overall result yields a distractingly artificial projection marred by smeared colors and blurred periphery. Sure, I guess it is nice to have the option but ultimately feels half-baked.

So your comparing using your sleeping mates finger to unlock his own phone with hacking Twitter? And claiming you hacked into an iPhone?
