You can answer your phone and see messages on a watch, and what's the point of taking a selfie if you can't see what you're taking?
Also. lets say you wake your phone 2-3 per hour for 15 hours a day.I recall that was the number Samsung gave for the original Galaxy Fold, but that number had been achieved in a Clean Room.
Hopefully this time they tested in an environment not hermetically sealed.
Oh, you mean the tap screen/face id unlock that has virtually zero physical action really?Probably no worse than iPhone power button activations.
Just like the touch bar on Macs.
Apple is going to release a ton of new emojis and watch bands in response.
I just don't understand the point? Sure, I can fold the phone up and put it in a smaller space... but still... What's the need?
You could say the same thing for 90% of Apple products [shrugs].These things will sell like hotcakes! Like $1380 hotcakes.
I mean, who buys $1380 hotcakes?
1) More protection against dropping a phone.I don't really understand what problem this design is solving.

I think that answers your question.
Old cell phones were much thicker and still fitted nicely in normal pockets. The legendary Nokia 3310 for instance was more than 2 cm thick. Not sure if a phone that is twice as thick would fit better in a slim pocket.
