Samsung needs to get there sh*t together.
Hopefully it was an error.
I would be grumpy too. Lol.
Just take care of your Mom. I am sure your husband will figure it out and rectify it.
Really disappointing experience though and I personally at some point when everything is said and done talk with a customer service representative at Samsung about it. I don't think they want to lose you as a customer and this situation has the potential to cause just that.
You would be living up to your name if you were complaining about something that isn't that important. This is completely different when the phone you sent them is stolen when you had no control over it and they want to charge you $500 for basically their mistake.
They better make it right. Once you know for sure one way or the other and have time please let us know the final verdict.
They definitely charged our credit card $500. I don't know now how many times they've done so.
It's complete chaos in our lives to deal with this now so my husband and I will sit down and sort through this with Samsung and the credit card company on Monday.
Last night we're all set to eat dinner, pack, trying to get to bed early to leave town before the holiday traffic, and my mom called all upset because something had caused her tv to not work. My husband had to rush his dinner, then he got there and couldn't go in because she decided to take a shower! He had to sit in the hall until she was done.
😵
Then she called me again wanting to know where my husband was! I said he was there but couldn't go in because she was taking a shower.
She said "Oh he's taking a shower?"
Me: "No, he said YOU were taking a shower."
Her: "Okay thanks for letting me know. Is he coming over after he takes his shower?"
Me: "Mom he's right there in the hall, let him in!
Her: "He's here? He's already done with his shower?"
Me: screams incoherently at the phone then screams at my dining room.
Fortunately my husband heard her talking to me even as I was texting that it was clear to go in, and by that point let himself in.
One of my kids was rolling with laughter. The other barely looked up from Instagram.
My husband fixed her tv in an instant. He said she was in a good mood and wished us safe travels and a nice vacation. It's not exactly a vacation for us, it's something for the kids, but fine, whatever. Close enough. Thanks mom. 😆
With my mom and my father-in-law, tv problems count as full emergencies and they will call every hour on the hour until you finally suspend your meetings or medical appointments, meals or vacations to fix whatever it is.
Oh lordy that was aggravating but it was a much, much better emergency call than I expect to get at night from my mom at assisted living after she had a rough time with a virus. Whew!
Getting back to Samsung, my husband says Samsung is apparently trying to get him to go with Google for his next folding phone. 😆
