beat Apple? I forgot iOS devices dominate the global market share... OH WAIT.

Is Apple going to get a patent for this "bend" feature? ROFL.

iOS does dominate the global market. It just make the most money, leaving others scraping for left over.

If you can't beat them, mock them.

It's not a matter of beating them really. I mean if Apple is going to tout such a well built solid platform including meticulous details to build quality, it better be sure stuff like this doesn't happen. It's no different than what Ford Encountered with it's truck beds flexing and bending into the cabins on their off road trucks.

The world is a ridiculous place
where businesses act like 4th graders.

The power of Social Media is what you're seeing. It does allow for millions to say what's on their mind and prove that it's not just kids that say the darnedest things.

Our products don't bend. We made them thick, heavy, and include as much plastic as possible. We also make sure that apps are sucks so you won't wear your phones out more often by not using it more. How can they bend with these incredible materials and design?

yea, because Apple's great material is really working out now eh? Keep bendin' boy HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Seriously?

I genuinely don't care. I still love my 6+.

It's like Antennagate all over again. It genuinely wasn't a big deal. Apple only ****ed up that time when they said "you're holding it wrong".

This was expected... this is going to be a hard time to be a Apple fan.

But seriously though, how hard is it to take out your iPhone when you sit down. The phone only bends if you are sitting for long periods. Sitting down with a iPhone 6 Plus is uncomfortable if anything. Who drives with an iPhone in there pocket for long distances, just take it out and put it somewhere in the car.

Dude, I love my Apple devices but you seriously cannot justify the iPhone 6 plus bending, telling people to take it out of their pockets...

Reminds me on antennage ... 'You're holding it wrong'

HTC nailed it.
"Designed to withstand the most demanding environments. Like your pockets."
Now call me idiot. Don't care. My life's good anyway.

I don't normally like this sort of advertising, but you know what, if it makes Apple suck it up and actually improve their structural integrity then I'm all for it. This has been an embarrassing week to be an Apple fan, with the bending issues, iOS 8 bugs, the update killing phones, the revelation that they've been sitting on information about how iCloud is vulnerable. Cook needs to get his butt in gear.

Can you blame them? They shoudlve done some more field tests for this product before release. Very un-Apple like, especially since they will be replacing bent units for the next X years until they fix this issue.

True, I have 5S and I always pull it out of my pocket while sitting or driving. It is really unpleasant to keep it there. I cannot imagine how awful the humungous 6+ will feel in the pocket!

I really don't care if the company who's products I buy is profitable or not. It's a phone and will it serve my purpose for the short product life it's going to have. If Samsung discontinued the Note for profitability reasons, I wouldn't care. It's not an investment piece and it's a commodity that will be replaced by something rather quickly. Samsung isn't going anywhere overall. Back up from that ledge, no need to jump off just yet.

Just the edge is curved, makes no sense. Samsung is not even creative in tweeting let alone making innovative phones.
