great conversation, read all of the comments, but your last comment made you lose the argument.
And why is that?

hahahahahaha......
for your kind information, samsung was making touchscreen phones in 2006, making apple the one that copied. dont believe me, google: "samsung F700"![]()
You don't really believe that apple started developing the iPhone in 2007 right?
You don't really believe that samsung started developing the F700 in 2006, right?![]()
No I don't hence why the comment that the f700 being released in 2006 (which is false but who cares about facts?) means nothing.

@otismotive... You mean the Nokia communicator series rip off with the resistive touch screen...? which was announced in Feb '07 and released in december '07 while the iphone was released in June '07...?

the thing we were talking about was "who's copying" and i think i've given you enough evidences.....apple's the one who copied.
----------
the thing is that samsung had introduced their first touchscreen phones almost 1yr before apple, which definitely means they were working on it before apple started to work on the iphone which concludes to : apple is the real copycat.
i repeat...

Then, maybe you should explain what you meant when you wrote,
"Ofcourse... There is iOS7 to copy now... Back to the drawing board... err I mean copying board."
Because I am confused.
I meant to say iOS7 is a departure and Samsung will have to put on their copying shoes again...
That's Apple's cherry-picked version, which made it look like Samsung stopped making flip phones, phones with keyboards, etc.
Here's Samsung's version for the trial, which pointed out that those devices continued to sell. It also cherry-picks, but the other way, by including devices that were in R&D. (Click to enlarge.)

As for the F700, it's interesting to note that Apple's lawyers... casting their net as wide as possible... originally included it in their list of iPhone copy-cat devices. Later they realized their mistake, and withdrew it from the list. (Besides the obvious fact that it was worked on beforehand, Samsung had filed a Korean design patent for it a month before the iPhone was shown off)
Samsung also sold an all touch device in the summer of 2006, a half year before the iPhone came out:

great facts, really hard to find...
that's what i was trying to tell but these people @silenCe @pirg @j4zb4 think that samsung never made a touch screen phone before the iphone.....why dont these people go criticize iOS7 for copying features from samsung and android.
I mentioned how it's simply not true claiming that Apple stole the design from the F700, because the F700 was NOT announced or released before the iPhone.

You should read my other post carefully... No one ever mentioned Apple was the first touchscreen device...
You should read my other post carefully... No one ever mentioned Apple was the first touchscreen device... Palm. Nokia had resistive touchscreen since years... And no the F700 wasn't announced before the iphone... You trolls should really get your facts right... The iphone was announced 1 month BEFORE the F700 and was launched 6 months BEFORE the F700... Here read these 2 links...

http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_f700-1849.php
And GSMArena is the most unbiased website you will ever find... I believe in this site more than the iHATE websites you post...
Also no one said Samsung stopped making dumbphones... They still do... But show me where were the capacitative touch screen phones from Samsung before Apple made them...? And resistive touchscreen phones from Samsung before Nokia / Palm made them...? Can you show me some links...? I doubt because Samsung has always been the copy champ...
No I am sorry to inform you misinformed little souls that all these have already been done in the jailbreak community before it even got to Android... Sorry to burst your bubble fandroids but most of the features were already on the iphone one was or the other... So even if you want to claim ios7 is a rip off it is a rip off of the jailbreak community and not Android...
Really sorry to break your lovely bubble...
where did the jailbreak got those features, huh?
where did the jailbreak got those features, huh?
one way or the other iOS users (i could have also used a bad word here, but i belong to a good family) have always copied android.
