People still think Apple Pay Cash and Apple Card are coming to the UK at some point? 😂

I think it's actually called Apple Cash, not sure if you are being serious or not.

Thanks, no I’d never heard of it.

I use Apple Pay via my watch pretty much daily or did before the pandemic started. I hadn’t heard of this though.

It's been out for years in the US, don't think we will ever see it in the UK at this point.

In the event of a smartphone loss, access to Samsung Pay Card can be instantly locked using another device from the Samsung ecosystem.
This seems disturbing, almost as though a thief can use the card freely until the owner does something to lock it remotely. Does Samsung Pay not do any kind of security authorization check before use?

In a more humorous world Apple would troll Samsung for fun by announcing something like a new innovation in headphones that hang like a stethoscope "relieving the pressure on your cranium and enhancing the ability to enjoy sound" and wait for Samsung to copy it to take out another ad with "Gotcha Sammy!"

In the real world, Apple might invent something of their own for Sammy to copy!

Just because Samsung does something after Apple, doesn't mean Apple invented it.

On topic, Samsung have introduced something in the UK before Apple so your point is moot...and Samsung have had credit cards for years anyhow.

Also Wechat pay isn’t the biggest payment platform. That honour goes to Alipay, which is capable of exactly the same things in terms of payments related features.
Yeah you are right, they have that face scan pay even. But it's still going to be an inconvenience without WeChat.

It still requires authentication for each use.
A thief cannot use it unless they know your passcode. Disabling it if lost is a nice plus.

The 1% cash back only lasts for the initial 90 days. Had considered switching for the 1% but not if it only lasts for 3 months 👎.

With Curve if you pay a monthly fee (think it’s £9.99/mo. and £14.99/mo. respectively) then the 1% doesn’t appear to be time limited.
