Commercials... yep, not like making an ad about a woman with a physical handicap who travels alone to 3rd world cities showing off her ipad continuously, that's a very reasonable and logical ad by apple.

Which is more or less like traveling to Sudan wearing a suit made of steaks.

Yeah because this wouldn't happen in the ole US of A! Her and her tablet would be perfectly safe here, because as everyone knows the rest of the world is full murderers and thieves!

How clever repeating yourself a second time with "wait and see". Not that the first time you stated "wait and see" was not equally clever. Want to try for a third "wait and see" because and I bet it will sound even more clever.

I'm not trying to sound clever. I have nothing to defend nor be offended by. It's a commercial that doesn't change my life in any way. But there is entertainment value in reading this thread. :)

He's right though.

I think what I stated is quite true.

I don't know man, I'm not from the US, but that ad looked really weird

It is subjective, which is why Apple should give upgrades for every size. I'd be disappointed if the 4 inch version doesn't at least have a spec bump.

Again, Apple hasn't provided one iota of confirmation to any of the rumors. I just think there's a lot of unnecessary hand wringing going on with no substantiated information. Contrary to what it seems MR believes, Ming Chao is not substantiation.

Here's what I know. Apple is going to release a phone in the fall. Here is what I'm guessing. It might come in a larger size, or sizes, or the same size, or 2 of the 3, or all 3.

As an aside, if they do at least a 4.7", they will finally be in the running for my new phone when the contract is up. If not, no sale. It won't hurt Apple and it won't hurt me. We'll both be okay. So will the rest of the world.

Bigger = better eh?

My step daughter got an S5 last week and I was interested to see what all the fuss was about.

The screen res is still not as good as my 2 year old iPhone 5, nor is the response when scrolling through web pages/apps/photos etc.

You can have your 5.1 inch screen. I think I'll keep my smaller screen, with better resolution and more natural response.

I think your posts are of great entertainment value.

And I bet he will be the first person to post "I told you so" when he sees someone post "... the greatest thing since sliced bread". He is clever, I will give me that.

I've never posted I told you so. No need to. I know what I read here. :)

Am I the only person left in the world that doesn't want a bigger screen? I think the size of the iPhone 5 is perfect.

Excellent.
I am so happy you have not the perfect size.
I naturally assume that you, and those who agree with your statement that it's perfect (and you can't get better than perfect) will not be buying an iPhone with a larger than your current iPhone5

As anything larger, as you say would no longer be perfect.

Yeah, and if I had gotten a Galaxy the thing I'd be waiting on would be a better OS. And better integration with my Mac. And something that looked better and didn't frustrate me as much. But instead I just opted for the experience that didn't make me hate myself.

The SGS5 has a 1080 x 1920 pixels, 5.1 inches (~432 ppi pixel density) screen and the iphone 5 a 640 x 1136 pixels, 4.0 inches (~326 ppi pixel density).

If everything you say is as true as that, well... no comments

It is kind of ridiculous apple hasn't introduced a bigger screen by now in all honesty. Keeping the same model for 2 years also sucks. I usually go back and forth to Android on apples "off" year.

iPhone is their rival, should they launch ads comparing their flagship phone to the Nokia 3310?

Samsung: look at you idiots waiting in line like idiots. Oh man you idiots are using those low resolution tablets at the spa?? Wow you idiots are wall huggers!! Hey how come you idiots don't want our big screens, we've had them for two yrs :(

No wonder Samsung is losing sales and profits rapidly. This marketing campaign makes no sense.

From what I've been reading for the past few months, I'm not so sure about that.
