Theres no need for a dongle when you can just get wireless headphones that are way more convenient.
Yes because the battery last forever and the sound quality is just as good. In crowded areas Bluetooth has lag in videos which is annoying.

I have bluetooth headphones and bluetooth speakers but sometimes you need to plug your phone intoTheres no need for a dongle when you can just get wireless headphones that are way more convenient.
Airpods have zero lag and are charging whenever they are in the case. How many times are you listening to music for 5 hours straight that you will run out of battery? I cant say its happened to me once in the ~2 years I have had mine. If you need even longer battery life the beats are available with the same W1 chip and ~10 hours of battery life. Sound quality is fine for 99% of people. If you have a pair of high end headphones just keep the included dongle attached to them at all times and you never lose it.Yes because the battery last forever and the sound quality is just as good. Everyone is going this route, its just that Apple was the first. Google already has. Give it another year or two and Samsung will ditch it too. It is what it is.I have bluetooth headphones and bluetooth speakers but sometimes you need to plug your phone into
a pa system either for band break music or DJing, Its a real pain when you can't find a dongle or the one you have
is bad. So I'm going to end up have like 10 of them..more and more Apple is becoming a pain in the ass.

Yes but when it's Apple doing it, it's a "genius campaign", "I love these ads", "they are sooooo right", etc.
I keep buying and losing the dongles! I have no love for Samsung but these commercials are pretty good.
The fast charging in the Iphone 8 plus is pretty fast but i guess faster is always better.
Much like, “I’m a Mac, and I’m a PC.....?”
Samsung is actually wrong about #doubledongle.
Anyone tried using iPhone bundled Lightning EarPods with MacBooks? It's at least #tripledongle but still no guarantee it'll work for such a common use case.
Or I can buy a phone that still has a phono jack. I am glad you are happy with wireless headphones. I’m not. A $150 dollar Bluetooth set doesn’t sound as good as most $20 wired sets. And I don’t need a charger for the headphones/earphones or need to worry about the possibility of either the phone going dead or the wireless earphones.
For Apple to offer wireless took nothing. They had already had BT for years. If someone wanted wireless they could get it, without needing to lose any wireless functionality. They removed the phone jack- and the publicly stated reason? “Courage”. Not, ‘we have some new options that removing the phone jack opens up’ but just that one, meaningless in this context word.
A lot of people, many of them long time Apple buyers complain on every thread they can that they don’t like this arbitrary decision, even after 3 years. We don’t buy Apples explanation, and quite frankly, I don’t care if you are delirious with joy about it’s removal. You, and your preferences, aren’t mine.
For all you criticising Samsung for bashing Apple instead of highlighting their own product are you forgetting the whole "I'm a Mac and I'm a PC" thing?!
It was an attempt by Apple at a humorous, mostly accurate, description of the flaws of the Windows OS. They did cause a sales increase for Apple Computers. What about it?
Samsung is not showing what they offer only what Apple is lacking in.
I guess some people need to be spoon feed and can’t work these things out for themselves.Erm.. you couldn't be more wrong.. the entire concept is that Apple is lacking in a certain feature while Samsung offers it. A head phone jack for example. Both sides of the coin only work when they are placed together...
i photos from the samsung phones seem too oversaturated for my tasteSorry my9+ doesnt over saturate. My family, most hard core iphoners agree it takes a better picture than the X. 2 words Dolby Atmos s9+ ftw!!
I agree and complained about the lack of headphone in a previous post..Or I can buy a phone that still has a phono jack. I am glad you are happy with wireless headphones. I’m not. You are probs looking on a screen that is set to the over saturation setting, can't remember what it a called.. there is a neutral option as well.i photos from the samsung phones seem too oversaturated for my taste
iphones take close to natural colours while samsung phones saturate the colours but some people like it i guess

Microsoft probably didn’t think it was either humorous or accurate.
Samsung Galaxy vs iPhone commercials are an attempt by Samsung at a humorous description of flaws and omissions of the iPhone hardware and OS.
On this Apple centric forum most people don’t find it either humorous or accurate.

+1
There has always been the bluetooth sets, nothing changed.
Yeah they introduced the W1-chip, but that's zero reason to remove the 3,5mm jack.
Now they want you to force to bluetooth sets that are waaaaay more expensive and can deliver only less music quality.
The people who cant live with cables already had a bluetooth set years ago...
They are mostly inaccurate or desingenious and lame, like all Samsung ads. They're not Clio winners hmm.
Most of their ads laugh at the users they're trying to convert for being idiots and using Apple, not a winner for sure.

Was Apple crapping in the mouth of windows users and calling them idiots like almost 100% of Samsung ads do... No.
There is a reason why Apple's campain was considered good by the industry.
[doublepost=1532596019][/doublepost]
They give you a lightning to 3.5mm adapter and lightning earpods.
As for Bluetooth being of lesser quality, maybe in 2007.... but not now.
Apple will always be too early for eliminating something from someone. In my experience, the only two two people that still criticize wireless headphones are those that have invested heavily in high end wired headphones and those that have not used AirPods or another quality wireless headphone or earbud.
None of these ads mock customers. Instead show them asking why features arn't available. They mock Apple.
None of the ads I commented on in this thread had a reference to "the notch". Try to pay attention.Notch in the god damn forehead buddy and several other ads for several years. So, blah blah blah, somewhere else.
