Use the samsung galaxy keyboard and then an iphone back to back, iphone keyboard experience is abysmal in comparison in multiple ways. Predictive text and autocorrect is worse, input accuracy is worse - the frequency of the wrong letter being entered on iphone is astonishing.
Let alone GBoard. Both are superior.

This is a positive for Apple stock. When you are a monopoly, if you provide good customer satisfaction, you are leaving money on the table. No matter how badly you treat your customers, they will still buy your products.

As a long time Sammy customer ( don't judge lol ) Customer Satisfaction for me involves post sales / warranty support. Let's factor THAT in and see what the scores would look like! Samsung CS/warranty support ( imo and in my experience over a period of 12+ years ) has been a digital labyrinth of broken web links, automated chat bots, and outright lies. For those reasons alone, I'd rank Apple much higher.

Samsung builds some of the most beautiful, innovative hardware on the planet. Their screens are unmatched, and their cameras are incredible. But their post-sales infrastructure behaves like a budget, third-party knock-off company.

Dealing with Samsung warranty support shouldn't feel like a full-time job. It shouldn't require three phone transfers, two disconnected chats, and a blood sacrifice just to get a screen defect acknowledged ( later followed by a denied warranty claim )

Until Samsung realizes that customer satisfaction doesn't end the moment the credit card clears, they will always lose the ecosystem war. Apple doesn't just win on ecosystem integration, they win because when things go wrong, they actually treat you like a human being who spent a mortgage payment on a phone.

iOS 26 is a complete disaster and was at the center of Apple dropping in customer satisfaction scores.
100% agree! And I'm a fanboy so I let Apple slip by for many things. But my wife doesn't like it either... and she is always right. And that's something to say. She is the most normal computer user. She has iPhone Pro 17 and M3 Macbook Air 15". She doesn't like what iOS and macOS 26 turned into. And we both have been using Macs for 18 years now.

  1. Missed calls notifications not going away when you open the contacts and see the missed call. Eventually it will after back and forth several times
  2. Screen flickering
  3. Grey boxes flicker when i tap + in messages and then take a photo --> send the photo. It acts like im spam highlighting invisible text with a grey box. Sometimes displays near the back icon as well
  4. Slow responsiveness to certain commands
  5. Either I'm getting older or the keyboard keeps getting worse
  6. Useless features counteracting the "iOS is easy" and just causes more bugs
  7. swipe down to search has lag when pulling up the keyboard
16 pro max
Did I miss anything?
I dont know. 1-4 nope doesn’t happen. 5 -26.5 keyboard got better (for a time I actually think it got worse, but I could never type on an iPhone since the 4 anyway)

6. No useless features.
7. Nope.
8. iOS 26 just works. For me. YMMV.

For those who believe android is the answer, please give it a go and let us know how it is in a year.

We got our first Mac, the Neo after a 31 year run with Windows and there to be honest was some growing pains. However, all in all we like Tahoe 26. We have 4 other idevices on iOS 26, 14PM, 15PM, IPP M5 and IPP M1 and they honestly just work. IOS 26 lets us get work down and is in the background.

That is to say it is not perfect. Compact tabs on Safari on iOS 26 is exhibiting some weird behavior, but I won’t make that one thing into IOS 26 is borked.

Congrats! We did that switch 18 years ago.

Imagine getting beat by Samsung which is known for not great service after sales...(they may have improved since I dealt with them the last time, but still.)

I’ve got a fold 7 and an iPhone 15 plus. I have to say my experience is the opposite. Predictive text/autocorrect seems better on the iPhone, but part of my problem may be the smaller fold outer screen which I think requires more focus than the larger plus.

speaking of samsung. Has anyone noticed the samsung members app doesn't work anymore ? I am using a galaxy s8 on android 9 and i saw on google play store the latest supported version is android 9, which should work with my s8, but it doesn't. I've enabled all permissions for samsung members app under settings.

So anyone experiencing the same issue?

I believe it and have felt it but not having an Android device, I wanted (needed?) to hear it. 🥲 Apple definitely needs to improve this.

Liquid glass and the down right horrible keyboard experience of iOS kills its usability.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE gboard on my Pixel 10 Pro XL. I can't believe I stuck with iPhone so long. Material 3 UI design is also just fantastic and works so well.

I just used a 10 pro XL last night the keyboard is better but not much better than my pixel 9 pro or even my samsung ...

I would think the Pixel 10 keyboard is identical to a pixel 9 since its the same thing (Android 16/Gboard). Gboard works on Samsung pretty good, but does not have all of the predictive features because OneUI gets in the way with its AI.

Apple makes better products when the competition is strong. I don’t want a Samsung, but I’d be happy if they put the fear into Apple a little.

What I’d really like to see is an end to economic protectionism, forcing Apple compete with Huawei on the merits. I think they would drive Apple to make some fantastic devices.

Probably bad for the stock price, but great for consumers.

It's actually even more concerning when people are less satisfied with the so called "best-in-class" devices. Perhaps these devices are not best-in-class?
In that vision, it’s concerning when the best in class decide doesn’t really make any revenue. Perhaps these devices aren’t really the “best in class”.
