You are a very confused little boy. Try to understand who is the customer in this relationship. No one ever complained about Samsung the components supplier, only Samsung the convicted thief of Apples design work.Apple is lucky that Samsung agreed to help them out like this. Apple has got to stop biting the hand that feeds it.
I don't ask you. The creator of a book should be able to set the retail price for his work. Only if ebooks become a viable business with reliable and predictable income for creators, they will be able to replace printed books. I sure don't want Amazon to tell me whats the worth of a book.Apple basically wanted us, the consumer, to pay more for ebooks. That's a direct slap in the face if you ask me.

I'm ready for a new iPad Mini with retina display
All the leaks are about the iPad mini, does that mean there won't be a new iPad too?
Shady business practices? Didn't Apple just lose against the US government for that ebook fiasco? Apple basically wanted us, the consumer, to pay more for ebooks. That's a direct slap in the face if you ask me.
it's funny how many people here hated samsung and dissed samsung...and now what? They all came back crawling...
Samsung makes good screens though. In apple, LG looks awful, washed out. Even the retina LG screens still have ghosting issues and the colors are off.
I do wish I could be there during their production planning meetings with Samsung.
In most reviews I've seen, Samsung's displays have inaccurate color compared to LG.
I've been using a LG rMBP for quite a while now and have had no ghosting issues. But hey, I can only speak for myself and the products I own.
In most review that I have seen, most users pray for a Samsung screen - and when they find out that they got an LG, LG is automatically better.
There's a reason Apple is moving to Samsung in such a manner... the screen is simply far superior.
Lets just say nobody has returned the samsung screen asking for an LG screen... while plenty have turned in their LG screen citing it isn't the same as display unit (which is most of the time if not always, Samsung).
Although I didn't have an AUO equipped MBA on hand, the one I saw in an Apple store looked closer to the LG than the Samsung.
http://www.anandtech.com/show/6063/macbook-air-13inch-mid-2012-review/3Color accuracy is slightly better on the LG panel, although it's not beyond the noticeable threshold. Color gamut is comparable between the displays.

Both displays are really good. If you've got a Samsung - be happy. It's a great vibrant display for everyday use. If you've got an LG - be happy, especially if you're a designer. You can value it's color accuracy and gradient rendering quality.
I ended up returning the Air with the Samsung display. I personally believe the LG is better quality and much more natural with accurate color for print and screen design.
Apple caved and woke up to remember they originally chose Samsung because they make the very best displays. Then Apple got a bug up their butt to turn on Samsung and treat them as an enemy. Like a menopausal woman they've changed their mind again in an effort to exercise and flaunt their influence. It's working perfectly, they continue to impress the faithful and enjoy their backing. Apples got it made.
