Usually comes after slow preorders. I will wait until end of the weekend. Even £100 trade in is enough for me to be tempted. Same thing happened last year. Let’s see.
Is this what happened last year, they introduced the £200 for any Android after the first weekend?

So, I traded in the S25 Ultra, got some bonus for the trade in, got another 150 EUR bonus, got the storage bonus and after all, I only had to pay 287 EUR. 🙂

Fun fact: Samsung gave me a trade in (bonus included) of 800 EUR and I only paid 650 for the open box when I bought it in December. So it is a very good deal for me. I am from The Netherlands.

Definitely, Samsung will throw a lot into getting these into people’s hands, I give it a month in some countries and there will be some great deals.

Samsung yet again bring out a camera that can’t cope with motion, even in daylight there’s loads of motion blur.

Go to 17.07 to see the examples.

Well if the new S26 ultra handles the night sky (Milky Way photography) with expert raw better than my S25 ultra, then I may upgrade. I don’t think we will see anyone testing the S26 ultra on the night sky or expert raw anytime soon. All we see online are camera battles with other phones LOL. Nothing professional, just snapshot comparisons with no adjustments. The f/1.4 aperture is nice & 1/2 stop faster than the S25 ultra at f1/7. I’m not a fan of the privacy screen, I don’t like store bought privacy screens either. I ended up getting rid of one of my S25 ultras so I can get another iPhone 17 Pro Max. I’m currently using two of those. Randomly I’ll use my S25 ultra camera for a certain things, but that’s about it. I really like my iPhone camera, especially with the new app called No Fusion, which strips away all of apples over sharpening and leaves you with a pleasant natural photo in HEIF or ProRaw.

I’m sure there is a noticeable difference in camera quality from the S26 ultra compared at the S25 ultra, I have to actually own one and use it to really tell. That’s what happened when buying the iPhone 17 pro max, the camera & software provided a noticeable difference for me compared to the 16 pro max.

The colors of the S26 ultra look great. If I upgrade, not sure which color I’d want. Probably go with black or one of the lighter colors. I’ll keep reading the comments and threads here… keep them coming.

I know the S26U has been meh, so far anyway. I was a android/pixel guy for the last 12 years. Upgraded to the iPhone 16 back in October from Pixel 7 Pro. iOS 26 has been a complete s**t show and riddled with bugs so I'm looking to go back to Android. I preferred the Pixel OS to OneUI, but not sure how much more of Apple I can handle. I haven't had a Samsung since the S21 and that was a descent experience, the only thing I didn't like was all the duplicate apps. But iOS is most definitely pushing me back to Android. May also wait for the new Pixel and see what it holds.

That's my biggest complaint with Samsung. I use their tablets but when it comes to phones I prefer Pixel phones. The other annoying thing are the two stores. Some Samsung apps get updated via the Google store while other apps get updated with the Galaxy store app. Besides that, they make excellent hardware.

I want to preorder the Buds4 Pro... but apparently there's no trade-in deals. Not sure what's going on with Samsung, there's no way I'm purchasing these latest buds straight up.

I had Galaxy Bud2 Pro as my TV buds. I gave them to a family member, so now I'm using my Buds3 Pro as my TV buds. I was annoyed that they weren't doing trade-ins for the new Buds4 Pro, but I need a new pair as my everyday carry. Couldn't decide on a color so just grabbed a black and a white pair. This way I can keep one in my day/work bag, and a spare in the car. The sound quality and fit of the Buds3 Pro are great, now the consensus on these new Buds4 Pro are they are noticeably even better.

Preordered the black S26U and the new Buds 4 Pro! Selling my Pixel 10 Pro XL. I've had it for several months now, and I've had so many issues with it, especially with it constantly losing signal.

The built-in privacy display is huge deal. I'm excited! Both the S26U and the Buds should pair well with my S10U!

Also, I hope the privacy screen can turn on automatically based on location. Update: Yes, you can geofence the feature!

Oh wow sorry you had issues with P10PXL no signal issues with it for me around NY and east. Congrats on the new phone incoming along with the buds4 ..I'm debating if I upgrade my buds3.. I was watching a video yesterday with the privacy screen it's a nice touch you can choose apps as well that will use it while the rest of the screen can be seen.. example text messages or emails. Geofence now that's great.

Unlike Samsung, Best Buy provides an option to do a trade-in ($75)... but have to wait until they process it before the discount takes into effect. Not only is there a trade-in deal, they offer a $30 Gift Card. But more than likely I'm going to wait it out... until I need to upgrade, nothing wrong with the Buds3 Pro.

Was able to trade-in the Buds2 Pro for $100 and stack some discounts along the way, paid $93 back in October '24.
