Samsung, and all Android phone manufacturers seem to choose the small-brained tactic of BIG NUMBER = GOOD which appeals to only the most uneducated consumers. Everything is a facade with the implication that more is better, when in reality everything is of a poorer quality and done to a lower standard. It’s like someone showing off their brand new McMansion, a nice gigantic house constructed with only the finest cardboard and paper mache.
Very much so. Cams had megapixels wars a while back. Real photographers/hobbyists knew that it was the lens that made the diff. And no number could help you with that.

Samsung has no idea what they are talking about. The fact it runs Android OS... Don't even get me started on that.🤣
No actually, please do get started: What exactly is so bad about the latest samsung android phone compared to an iPhone? Give me the 3 biggest issues they have compared to the iPhone.

I'm not trying to be combative, I really am curious...

1. The whole Android software UI is confusing and too much.
2. Lack of Privacy.
3. Lack of updates to the latest Samsung phones.

No. They actually do it quietly and don’t release half baked ideas or vaporware just to get attention. I think 48 MP is overkill unless they release it with a brand new form of compression that is light years ahead of what is available today. Samsung uses a 2005 OGG format that is horrible because size of the photo files on their phones had been out of control for years.
Rumor is they have that new Pied Piper Compression Algorithm that was demoed at RussFest.

Deja vu.

Quality of the ad is on par with their flip phones I guess.

Reminds me of the Switch campaign. I recall one where the guy said OS X gets out of your way and Windows doesn't. It's advertising; what do you expect?

Whenever I see Samsungs marketing trying to slate the iPhone, all I can think of is mad men when the guy says "I feel bad for you" and Don says "I don't think about you at all".

Thats been my reaction whenever anyone has tried to tell me that their Android device does X, Y and Z and the iPhone is overpriced. I just don't care. It does everything I want it to do to the point I don't even consider android phones.

Way to go - keep naming a rival brand. Always going to keep that brand awareness high....
Precisely. If I am considering buying a Samsung, I will be reminded that Apple will have a shiny new iPhone soon, and I will hold my purchase till the new iPhone is release to make comparisons before I buy.

So Samsung is telling me that I have to buy both the zFlip4 and the S22 Ultra if I want a the "best" smartphone? I think having one great iphone is the better choice :)
