Yea, cuz all the consumer should care about is how much money Apple makes. I hope your power company raises their rates too so they can make more money.

Except that unlike the power company, consumers have a choice of whether they want to give Apple their money or not (by choosing whether to purchase Apple products or not).

If you don’t like the iphone, there’s android phones. If you don’t like Apple Music, there’s Spotify.

In a free market, Apple’s profits show that there is still no lack of consumers willing to buy apple products despite their prices. I see no shame in highlighting this fact.

Most here don’t do it in every post in every thread.

Will I be able to uninstall it or will it be one of those apps I can only "disable" while it secretly collects my information in the background.

Then what is Spotify complaining about with its EU legal front? Seems this agreement nullify's their argument as Samsung always and will sell a LOT more S10 devices than iPhones!!
Don’t agree that the S10 will sell more than the iPhone (although it deserves to). However having their app pre installed on millions of Samsung phones could be seen as anti competitive.

That's exactly my point: Spotify launched an EU case against apple and Apple Music ... this pretty much leaves their case as useless.

Let's remember, Samsung has the lions share of Android phones globally - not just the USA ... with only recently Huwaei and another competitor ousting them the past 6mths which will change I'm sure. conjecture and opinion but past several years ... as a gauge you can safely bet Samsung S10/S10+ and S10e will outsell iPhone XS/XSMax/Xr for the rest of the year until October's new iPhones.

Nothing strange, Android phones are known to come with bunch of bloatware, right out the box.

With a bloatware like what? Please name the bunch of bloatware apps installed on samsung phones because i dont know what you are talking about.

Apple has only Apple's "bloat". So, please...let's not fool ourselves.

Didnt Facebook and Twitter be pre-installed earlier with ios and were impossible to be removed?

Because apple doesnt pre-install those apps anymore for you, they are now considered bad, very bad android bloatware on android phones?

Before ios10 there were over twenty ios apps preinstalled that couldnt be removed. Some of the crappiest app were ”Tips” - did ever anybody use it?

I do remember the time when your ios devices had alot of crap preinstalled and couldnt be removed - but ipad didnt/doesnt even have a calculator app!

Facebook and twitter never came preinstalled on iOS devices. They did, for a while, sport native system integrations with iOS. For example, you could post directly to Facebook and twitter from the notifications shade, or share content directly to them from the share sheet extensions page (something which Apple didn't start supporting natively for other apps until iOS 8).
