Samsung really shouldn’t be egging on Apple to make a foldable phone, because when they do, they’re going to make a foldable that eats Samsung for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It will make their $2000 peeling screen foldable look like an overpriced fisher price toy. No Android will be able to compete because no tablet compares to the iPad. The iPhone will unfold into an iPad Mini and the universal app ecosystem will enable the best folding phone experience out there. The experience of using an app and opening the phone to the tablet version is awful for many apps.

All with a folding screen manufactured by Samsung. Great points!

And yet Samsung consistently get beaten in blind photo comparison tests… probably best not to start comparisons of features - at least the quality of those features, their value, level of security, ease of use or ability to work seamlessly across devices… that might get a bit awkward. No one’s counting days of features other than Samsung. Customers counting the days to buy a new iPhone? A few more than Customers counting down the days for a new Samsung phone. Samsung phones are not terrible… and are sometimes great - as much as Apple products aren’t always perfect. But throwing rocks? No one is better than Samsung. Evidence of desperation and jealousy. It’s a terrible campaign.

This is so sad and pathetic. Apple never even thinks about them and they can't stop with the jealousy. I really believe high school students run Samsung's marketing team.

Uh… Apple absolutely thinks about them. Samsung is Apple‘s biggest competitor. What we have between these companies is WAR.

It would be good, until one realizes that Samsung is even behind the Chinese who used periscope and 108MP even before Samsung did. And look at their 4th gen foldable crease… 😂

Samsung got a free pass of laziness when Huawei got the hammer ban.

You realize Samsung is Korean, not Chinese, right?

Their camera hardware is more impressive at the moment. I don't know anything about the software. Their foldable phones seem half-baked to me.
I was curious about that. So how do the photos od the Samsung flagship model compared to the iPhone 13 Pro and 14 Pro?

So Samsung is supposed to be considered "innovative" because is obsessed by putting every new feature possible? do they really think that a folding phone, you need two hands to use, is more convenient than a traditional one? how about the time spent and the hardware degrade after folding it hundreds of times every day? you always and only understand the convenience of a device only after using it for a while and doesn't matter if you pack it with all possible features if you don't use all of them or, worse, de facto, they make worse your experience.
What I know and I appreciate about Apple is that every phone I got was very, very durable, I used it for a very long time and it kept an incredible resale value. That's matters most! otherwise is just "fluff".

The best answer people can really give Samsung at this point is "yeah, so?"

It doesn't matter what features Samsung claims their products have or what they can do. I am simply not going to switch to an android phone no matter what they say and I think that's really the best rebuttal I can give them.

These phone comparisons are so silly. It really comes down to personal preference. Having been on Android and iOS, I prefer iOS. My Pixel 3 was a nice phone, but I’m very glad to be back on iOS with my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Any pro creator knows it's not necessarily the quantity of the information, it's the quality. Boasting high pixels is a marketing ploy for laypersons who don't know any better.

So I've been flipping through 9 pages of comments thinking it's so very odd that nobody has posted the extremely fitting Don Draper meme and juust when I'm about to fix it myself I finally land on it. Thank you!

Unfortunately knowing plenty of fandroids I know this marketing does work on them a bit. Having never used apple the arguments against ever going there are usually founded in numbers on a spec sheet.
