If you like Android great but Samsung seriously have some issues....all they ever do is talk about Apple.
Don't ever talk about your competition....that is marketing 101. They are like a petulant child.
If you enjoy Android devices, go for it.
Samsung is following the footsteps of Apple. Don’t forget, Apple has been talking trash about Windows for decades.

108mp is obviously a huge joke. Look at the full-resolution sample images at 1:1 (aka 100% pixel-for-pixel view.)

HEAVY granulation and smear.

It's bad. I bet you'd have to downsample this 108mp to somewhere around 5mp before it truly starts to look good. I did a test in Gimp: the original 108mp image is 12,000 x 9,000 pixels in dimensions. Looked bad at 1:1. So I resampled it to 6,000 x 4,500 px (27 megapixels) and it looked better but still with obvious grain in some parts of the image. I halved the width again to 3,000 x 2,250 (6.7mp) and the noise was less still. So if you want a mostly-clean image at ISO 50 (which is the ISO of the sample image I found on flickr) Samsung's 108mp camera is more like a 6mp camera.

Which is to be understood. Because the image sensors in these phones are _soooo tiny!_ So very, very, very tiny! They cannot ever be very good with such small sensors. This is why aps-c and FX format and medium format digital sensors are popular. Because these larger sensors positively crush what tiny phone sensors can do.

So what Samsung is really doing is eating up user's storage space, storing low-quality, high-noise pixels just to be able to claim they have 108mp. What's the point of having 108mp if 102 of those mp don't look very good? You're just wasting storage space.

You're wasting battery power, since the CPU has to work harder to process these pointless , grainy pixels.

You're wasting cell bandwidth when people post these images to the cloud or social media. Because the more megapixels and image has, the larger the file size is going to be.

There's no point other than for marketing "108mp" to people who don't know any better.

Innovation is not being first. It’s taking something and making it better.

If we didn’t innovate we would all still be building a fire to cook.

Samsung sounds scared, hence the lashing out.
I don’t think they’re worried. Here’s a recent image of Samsung:

I would definitely NOT want a folding phone, you can always see a faint and sometimes not so faint line/crease/discoloring in the fold that would drive me flipping insane.

Samsung is a good company, but its quality does not match the quality of Apple. Apple beats everyone in customer service—with the possible exception of Ritz-Carlton Hotels, according to rumors Apple used to tell.

I always have to chuckle when they try to make fun of apple as my Samsung Q60 TV has the Apple TV app and supports Airplay. Also, just not interested in a flip phone.

Eh, companies throw dirt at each other all the time. Apple does it all the time. They literally just stood on stage two days ago and said Android CPUs still haven't caught up to the iPhone 11.

Samsung today continued on with its ad campaign denigrating Apple devices, this time sharing a series of tweets highlighting Apple's lack of a foldable iPhone and pitting the iPhone 14 Pro's 48-megapixel camera against the Galaxy S22's 108-megapixel camera.

"What the Flip, Apple?" reads the first tweet, which points out the launch date of Samsung's first foldable device. The second tweet has the same first-to foldables theme, while the third notes that Samsung devices have had higher megapixel cameras for several years.

Samsung has been sharing anti-Apple ads since before the new iPhone 14 models were announced, and the company has a long history of insulting Apple devices in order to promote its own products. "Buckle up for Apple's latest launch," said an ad released in early September. "As you enter a world where heads will turn, must none in your direction. Where the highest resolution smartphone will be in someone else's pocket."

A second "Join the flip side" ad that came out on Thursday attempted to persuade iPhone users to swap to the Galaxy Flip by showing a diehard iPhone fan lusting over foldable technology.

Samsung has in the past mocked Apple design decisions such as the removal of the headphone jack only to follow suit and make the same move a few years later. Samsung has a leg up in this case as it was first to market with foldable devices and high-resolution cameras, but it will be interesting to see if there are iPhone 14 Pro features that Samsung ends up adopting in the future.

The thing is for Apple they aren't even friends, rivals or frenemies. They are so far below Apple, they are an insignificant speck of dust. Samsung reeks of desperation.
Samsung is a supplier for Apple. They would love for Apple to make a foldable phone since they might actually make money off all their R&D.

48mp on the iPhone is also not going to be great.

These small-chip sensors can kinda pull of a semi-decent low-mp image at very low ISOs like ISO 50.

Beyond that they're trash.

For example, here's iphone 13 at ISO 3200:
Super, super noisy at full rez 1:1. It's not an Apple vs. Samsung problem it's a "small chip" problem.

Sooooo much fan-boy-ism!
I love my iPhone but the innovation is dead. So many thing at iPhone are worse than on Android and viceversa.
No need for us to “defend” a company or to attack another.
You like one Brand over the other?. Great. Shut up.
Samsung made more noise with this ad by Apple fan boys than by it self.

You feel the adds offended you? And you have to defend your choice of brand?. Kudos to Apple, you have been effectively brain washed.

I’m starting to feel like the iPhone is on the same path as Grand Theft Auto 5.
Same stuff for years and years. Updates and remasters, online gameplay with constant micro transactions. Subscription services with $3 here, $5 there.
Apple , like Rockstar doesn’t have to really change things much. If they keep delivering the same thing in a fancy new package people will still line up to buy it in droves. But eventually people will grow bored. Apples marketing budget shows they know that’s happening. That’s why we’re being trickled “ advancements “ as a snails pace.
We are being led something amazing is around the corner. Hints and rumors. But never anything of substance. Each new screen shot and leak gives us hope and we keep spending money.
Just promises that lead to more money.
The iPhone 14, is Apples GTAV.
Re badged, re branded. With new improvements! But really just the same old thing with new flashy marketing and advertisements. Promising us we will love it.

Couldn’t we have had nearly all of these soft wear advancements on the current iPhone 12 and 13?
Sure. But they need that quarterly and yearly earnings reports.
We’re all slaves to hope.

I’ll end up buying a 14. My 12 Pro Max battery health is at 92% but somehow the battery only lasts 9 hours on a full charge.
What do you honestly expect any smart phone manufacturer is going to introduce that is truly ground breaking?

They are trickling us advances, because they need to show something new, but really - there's nothing exciting left.

The thing is - we are now a smart phone addicted marketplace, so all they need to do is turn up and we'll buy.
