$30 USD for one tag? Hahahaha
You probably won’t like Apple’s pricing either.
$30 USD for one tag? Hahahaha
Tile wasn't the first bluetooth tag.
How about actually looking at
Some really bitter Apple fanboys here mad a company for being competitive and not letting Apple become a monopoly.
What if your coffin was a squircle?I'd die pretty happy if I never heard the word squircle again...
You could probably go the whole way back to LoJack, possibly even farther back than that!Technically, it would be Apple and Samsung copying SticknFind
and I'm sure you can find another startup that released bluetooth tags before SticknFind.
A cheap replaceable throw away battery compared to an expensive throw away device (I'm looking at you AirPods) is quite compelling if the battery life is long enough. Not entirely well though. Lack of UWB and using CR2032 make it far less compelling. It remains to be seen whether AirTags will be rechargeable, but it will mostly certainly have UWB.
Having a Tile on my keychain, and the MagSafe wallet on the back of my phone has pretty much ended the frantic, almost daily “WHERE IS MY ****??” situation that was a part of my life for years whenever I went anywhere. Not sure…
Because Apple plans to bring a lot more functionality to them. Although as a consumer I'm glad Tile got into that feud with Apple, since it was a step towards the creation of a platform for tracking devices that ultimately means more offers to the consumer. And that may make Tile somewhat of a decent competitor for cheaper.
No, not really.
Your point, Samsung are copying Apple.
"whenever someone says "Samsung doesn't copy Apple", just point them to this and a bunch of other examples in the past. Samsung copies Apple. Plain and simple."
The reality is although they were not first, they certainly weren't copying Apple.
Do Samsung copy Apple? Oh no doubt, but not this time.
But, but it is Apple....You probably won’t like Apple’s pricing either.
By your logic, Apple copied Samsung because Samsung created a smartphone before Apple, right?
No. A company doesn't have to be first in order to be copied by someone. You completely failed to understand my point but thanks for the effort.
I didn’t know Samsung made cars back then. The Samsung SM5 came out in 1998. They still make cars as part of Renault Samsung Motors in South Korea.
Samsung is a huge corporation. Electronics is just a part. They do things like build ships (2nd largest), Insurance, building and construction, retail, hotels, etc.I didn’t know Samsung made cars back then.
And they are both copying Tile, so get your trash out of here.whenever someone says "Samsung doesn't copy Apple", just point them to this and a bunch of other examples in the past.
Samsung copies Apple. Plain and simple.
stupid comment. "who is first" (which isn't Tile anyways) is not the point. And they are both copying Tile, so get your trash out of here.
😂 omg I really wasn’t prepared for that visual.A autographed picture of Lindsay Graham will sell more than this.
Yep. There’s a reason we’ve been hearing rumors about Airtags “imminent” launch for over a year and only Apple knows why they haven’t yet. Could be good or it could be bad. Let’s see when Apple lays those cards on the table. The Arguments are so silly in this thread. Who cares who is the first, it’s about who implements the best product to execute its functionality where it matters most to the consumer. Samsung usually is ahead of Apple in a lot of products, but it doesn’t make their products ‘better’ over Apple, it’s all about the implementation. There’s a lot of people in this thread who don’t seem to understand that.
