Think yourself lucky! My order has just changed from Delivers 16th March to Delivers 19th-20th March
and still processing, and no phone call today either ----------
Don't worry, that is standard. When anyone pre-authorises a payment from a bank, it usually only shows on your account for 3-4 days before it drops off...unless it is requested before then.
Obviously, in this case, Apple will simply take the money once your iPad has physically shipped.

Well thats interesting, i wonder what it is about our area that Apple or the courier dosnt like? Disappointing we wont get to play with it over the weekend, but we will survive!

The most annoying thing is, I am working Mon-Sat next week, so won't have a lot of free time, whereas I am off Fri, Sat & Sun this week, and had it all planned out to get my iPad on Friday, and have all weekend to play with it

Aye likewise i had big plans of watching the F1 on the pad this weekend via Sky Go, Not anymore! I'll keep you updated if theres any changes, hopefully get it Monday surely!
My mother said she answered the phone today and it was Apple to say that my iPad is to be delivered this friday! Brilliant! but I am flying to England tomorrow morning and wont be home till Wednesday ah well I have to wait.
No one will be at home on friday but Apple said if no one is at home the courier will re deliver on saturday which everyone in my family will be in and if no one at home they will deliver on monday!! But thought its bank holiday?? wow!

I too am on Preparing for shipment, still awaiting a tracking number, that will be the tell tale of when to expect it then.
got call yesterday at dinner time to say order will now not be delayed and should be with me friday 16th, i asked which courier, she didnt know, I asked about my other order for apple tv which was a separate order, she didnt know.

I really hope they ship by UPS rather than TNT, UPS are always great for getting something out for delivery the same day they receive it, I've had issues with TNT in the past where they've taken an extra day because it hasn't arrived with them early enough in the day.

My iPad estimated delivery date has gone from 16th March to 13th March. Which, of course, has passed. So I'm taking those reported delivery dates with a pinch of salt...

Right guys finally i am on the preparing for shipment stage, feel like i am the last person in the UK to get to that stage and that was me pre-ordering at half 12 after the announcement! So a question to you all, what is the estimated delivery date on your preparing to ship order? Im still at delivers 19th - to 20th, Is there a chance i could still get it Friday, considering i received the delay email? Had no phone call yet, it jus wouldnt be fair if it appears, other people from Ayrshire are getting it on Friday, and i have to wait until at least Monday, unlucky or what!!

Mine is awaiting pickup by UK mail, estimated delivery date.. Tomorrow!
Now as I ticked the business address option, hopefully I'm first on the delivery list and I can play with my ipad instead of work tomorrow!
