I have just begun using my new Macbook Pro TB yesterday.
I want to use Windows for games so I installed Windows 10 through Boot camp. There seems to be a strange problem with the display/driver.
Whenever nothing is moving on the screen it goes black. Moving the mouse or having some graphics moving on the screen like a download bar keeps the screen alive but as soon as the screen is "idle" it goes black.
I've tried updating the iris drivers using Intel tools but the problem remains.

Has anyone else experienced this or can anyone offer some help. It's very annoying.

Yes. I assume you only get this on battery power. If so go to intel iris graphics control panel. Choose power > battery. Disable panel self refresh. Let me know if it works.

@thesaint024: Thanks a lot for your help. The suggested setting fixed the issue.

So I suppose this is a driver issue? Hope it will get fixed by Intel soon.
