The black border should stop at the screen, the rest overlapping the bezel. Needs to be fitted 100% straight though.
I know I've not lost pixels as when I invoke the app switch/shut down thumb swipe the shrinking image is exactly what I see full screen.

Had to remove and reapply my Spigen Alignmaster about 5-10 times before getting it perfect. The template had too much leeway to rely on. Then after getting it perfect I had to carefully lift corners to use the dust removal stickers for the odd piece of dust/lint that would get in on each attempt. Stressful, lol.
Mine straight as can be. It’s not the Spigen one. There’s an approx 1-1.5mm gap all the way around. I completely understand your stress point of view. That’s me also.

The Spigen borders are spot on. I just did another check by screenshooting a photo and comparing the edges of the screenshot to what was viewable and it's perfect.

Amazon UK

Don't think it's available in the US at the mo.

Here's what we have available in the states:

It's sitting in my cabinet until my phone arrives so I cannot attest to fitment just yet. That model you link to doesn't show up on Spigen's .com website. It does show up on their .com.sg (Singapore) tho

I got a pack and installed one on my 14PM and the other on my Mother's. Easiest and cleanest screen protector installs I've ever done and I've been installing them since my Handspring Visor days.

That one doesn't have the black border. Still a good one, black borders are really to hide the halo effect and glowing edges you get without.

I can’t decide which one to get, either the Spigen or ESR Armorite one? Do both of them help on fingerprints.

Always have gotten the Apple installed Belkin Screen protectors in the past, but none of our local Apple Stores have them this year yet.

Spigen is a perfect fit on my 14 PM. Super easy to install and has the oleophobic coating to prevent fingerprints.

I am so impressed by the ESR Armorite screen protectors. Got them for the 13PM and again for the 14PM. Seamless installs with no bubbles every time and they seem to last forever.

I got the Zagg privacy screen protector installed on my phone. Hate the multiple cutout design with the dynamic island.

I am not sure if that is a necessary evil with the privacy filter, but I imagine that I won't last long before I replace it with one that provides seamless protection.
MagGlass has a privacy screen protector that does not have cutouts. I reached out to them and they assured me the glass will cover the entire dynamic island, there is a small circle of clear glass over the camera to ensure full functionality of the front camera. I'm giving this one a try.

I purchased the Tozo screen protectors and am not happy with the coverage as they leave too much of a gap (roughly 1-1.5mm) to the 3 cases I‘ve tried them with. My wife purchased the Otterbox Amplify protector for hers, and it’s much better. Almost imperceptible gap, with almost no visible whitish edge reflection.

I got the Spigen for my Pro on the recommendations of this thread, and it is quite good. Haven’t used a screen protector since the crappy plastic-y ones on my 3G or 4 back in the day. Took me a while to make absolutely sure the screen was clean and dust free, but the first one went on perfectly and it’s almost totally unnoticeable. Oddly less friction than a naked screen, but that’s not a detriment to me.

I ordered 3 different brands.

LK, ESR Armorite and Spigen EZ Fit.

First one i applied was LK which only lasted 10-15 mins. In my opinion it was very grainy and not lived up to the hype.

Second one was ESR Armorite. I had same on my iPhone 13 Pro and it was ok. I went for this one purely because of black borders. It looks good but attracts hell of dust. Off it went after 24 hours.

Finally i installed Spigen EZ Fit. I must admit i was on the edge re clear borders, but the quality of the screen protector is excellent. Very clear and it is very thin compared to the other two. Will see how it holds up.

One thing I’ve noticed about the Spigen is that it conflicts with polarized sunglasses in a way a bare screen doesn’t - it’s hard to see the screen at an off angle. Not sure if this is a normal quality of tempered glass screen protectors.

i wrote about this earlier in this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...-pro-pro-max-megathread.2357603/post-31510641
those still looking for a good protector, i am super happy with this.

i also bought the spigen glastr ezfit and it didn’t work out. probably me, but first i had trouble peeling off the inner protective layer (1st step) and then somehow got hair between the glass and my screen ig on the time it took to peel off the decal and set the tray on top of my phone. i didn’t even try the second one and just went straight to the above.

i really like the amfilm which are basically the same as the spigen because they come with a dust sticker the same size as the iPhone screen. so you can cover the whole screen and remove any dust in one step and follow up with a huge dust sticker.

Weird. I wear Oakley, Ray-Ban and Revo polarized and don’t have any issues w/ the Spigen in my 14PM.

Got it and applied it. The applicator wasn’t very good. It installed crooked but I was able to lift it off and line it up by hand. First try with the face unlock and it didn’t work. Had me really worried until I noticed a small bubble over the face detection camera. Removed it and it facescan works great. The clear glass/plastic over the normal camera is noticeable but at least there is no longer a cutout collecting dust.

Thanks for the info. I wound up going with Spigen and am very happy with it so far.
