The LK one with the dust free fitting box worked great. Still not 100% on no black border as you can see the edges, but it's staying on.
I might have to try that. I used the Spigen EZ Fit immediately after peeling the film off my phone, and still managed to get fuzz underneath the screen protector. I tried again with the second one, in a steamy bathroom and with my headlamp on full blast to see any dust, and somehow got cat fur underneath. So I’ll either try that LK one or pony up the money to have Apple install the Belkin one.

I can't recommend the LK as the adhesive used gives a grainy effect. Great installation method though.
Regarding lint/hair/dust underneath, use the dust remover stickers to remove. Lift a corner with a finger nail and slide the sticker, sticky side up to the offending speck/hair. Drop the glass back down for the sticker to collect the object then lift the glass again to remove the sticker.

Now this is can be a laborious task, sometimes you'll get rid of one and see another. But keep going and you can get the desired results.
Installing in a steamy room can help lessen the risk of dust. Wait a few minutes in stillness for the dust to fall out of the air in the humid atmosphere.

If you have any halo type marks at the edges, this is easily sorted by dipping a cotton bud in olive/vegetable oil and jabbing it at the area. Maybe pull at the edge a little without lifting it to aid the process. Then clean off. You don't need to soak the cotton bud, just get it a little moist.

You only need to scrap a protector if it's damaged or the adhesive gets ruined in a spot by accidentally denting it when lifting off.

Any more experiences with the ESR Armorite? Does the black border cover any pixels on the screen?

Are there any other options with black borders? I see iCarez, but it's the kind without a speaker cutout.

Installed the ESR Armorite 14 Pro screen protector, installation isn't nearly as easy as the LK and still susceptible to dust particles getting under the screen but the clarity is 100%.

What is nice about the ESR Armorite w/ the black border, you don't get a glowing outline like you would w/o the black border. It provides nearly full coverage and the Apple leather case fits nicely w/o issue.

The imos is about as edge to edge as ive seen. Here’s some pictures from online. I’ll try to take my old iPhone from my wife to snap some pics of mine with the imos on. No soeaker notch either. Sound is not effected

i took a chance and bought this wsken protector on amazon. at the time i purchased there were no ratings and it was a sponsored item. last year i used am film and was very happy with them. they have a one touch application.

wsken glass screen protector

the wsken comes in a tray that you put your phone in and close it. then you pull a tab from the tray. it reminded me of the apple belkin applicator that they use at the apple stores.

i am super happy with it. imo i got a perfect instal with no hassles at all. it was simple and zero issues. i took a photo and although its difficult to really appreciate the quality, here it is:

Yea and even companies like Zagg sell screen protectors with no cutouts. I went to the Zagg mall cart and they had one, and they showed it to me its this one: https://www.zagg.com/en_us/glass-xtr2-iphone-14-pro-max
Well this one has a tiny cutout for the top speaker. My iCarez screen protector is flat on the top without the little cutout. Can’t test it out on my phone until delivery next Monday though.

I am also waiting the imos for mine... Did they add a installation tool in order to help with the installation?
Is also the front camera covered of is there a hole?

Got Zagg Invisible Shield with cutout for the 14 Pro - while it is great, the cutout makes no sense with the Dynamic Island, so i will be looking to change this to one without. I also did not do well applying it, so it has a lot of dust specks hehe.

Got it in a bundle with case, and the case does not fit properly (it is too loose), so will be going back to the store to see if I can try another as it may be manufacturing with this particular one. But as they make the cases before phone is released I am afraid it is the case it self, package also said "New iPhone 6.1" 2022" and not "iPhone 14 Pro".

In what world is it okay for someone (zagg) to charge $50 for a screen protector? Am i just cheap or is that stupid lol. I'm looking for a nice privacy screen protector for a new 14 pro max. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Flolab has one! I am sure Spigen will come out with one eventually.

Just tried the ESR Armorite on a 14 Pro and while it went on without issue, it's definitely not a perfect fit. There's a lot of space still around the edges of the protector. The gap at the bottom is most noticeable.

i think the protectors are all cut to allow people to use cases. ive installed the Amorite on my 14 pro max and there is a very small gap around the edge but overall I’d say it’s a great fit

Perhaps that's the case. Still, with the Apple MagSafe cases there's not much of a overlap so I'd like to find a protector that covers as much of the screen as possible. Still looking..

This one from Amazon is surprisingly good especially for less than $5 for the three pack. Covers a good amount of the screen but does not have the black border, which some people prefer. https://a.co/4miqN0r

That's exactly the reason. I have an uncle that works for a peripheral manufacturer in Taiwan and the reason they do that is to make sure phones will fit in a wide variety of cases without the protector lifting, peeling, etc..

If anyone's looking to purchase ESR screen protectors, Amazon has a 10% off coupon, plus entering coupon code TQGOA48J brings it to 50% off. So that's $6.99 for the regular and $11.99 for the Armorite, that's pretty good.
Just used this, this is huge! How did you find this?

I got the ESR tempered glass (not the Armorite) for my 14 PM after a good experience with other family members using them on their 13 PMs. Price is not bad, although it seems higher than a year ago. It went on instantly, I pressed out a couple bubbles with the microfiber cloth, and one lingering set of tiny bubbles went away on their own overnight. Now it's perfect: no bubbles, smooth, clear, good finger oil rejection. I would buy it again.

Edit: see two posts up for super deal on Amazon atm.

Just bought and installed this black bordered one. Not good since it’s not edge to edge, black bordered tempered glass need to be edge to edge else you lose pixels that get covered by the black border.

That’s the thing “ nearly full coverage “. Black bordered tempered glass need to be full coverage for obvious reasons. I am yet to find one in the USA.

The black border should stop at the screen, the rest overlapping the bezel. Needs to be fitted 100% straight though.
I know I've not lost pixels as when I invoke the app switch/shut down thumb swipe the shrinking image is exactly what I see full screen.

Had to remove and reapply my Spigen Alignmaster about 5-10 times before getting it perfect. The template had too much leeway to rely on. Then after getting it perfect I had to carefully lift corners to use the dust removal stickers for the odd piece of dust/lint that would get in on each attempt. Stressful, lol.
